I was sent this poem from a previous puppy buyer. I lost one of Ziggys little girls this afternoon. Being a breeder isn't easy. There are alot of ups and downs. This poem helps explain a bit.

A Breeders Prayer

I love my little puppy…she makes my house a home.
She is my very sweetest little friend…I never feel alone.
She makes me smile, She makes me laugh, She fills my heart with love . . .
Did some person breed her, or did she fall from above?

I've never been a breeder…never seen life through their eyes.
I hold my little puppy and just sit and criticize.
I've never known their anguish…I've never felt their pain.
The caring of their charges through snow, or wind, or rain.

I've never waited the whole night through for babies to be born,
The stress and trepidation when they're still not there by morn.
The weight of responsibility for this body in my hands,
This darling little baby, who weighs but 60 grams.

Should you do that instead of this . . . or maybe that was wrong?
Alone you fight and hope..one day, she'll grow up proud and strong.
You pray she'll live to bring great joy to someone else's home.
You know it's all just up to you…you'll fight this fight alone.

Formula, bottles, heating pads…you've got to get this right.
Two-hour feedings for this tiny gal throughout the day and night.
Within your heart, you dread that you will surely lose this fight,
To save this little baby, but God willing . . . you just MIGHT.

Day one…she's in there fighting…you say a silent prayer.
Day two & three…she's doing well with lots of love and care.
Day four & five . . . she's still alive…your hopes soar to the heavens.
Day six he slips away again…dies in your hands…day seven.

You take this little angel and bury her alone.
With aching heart and burning tears, and an exhausted groan,
You ask yourself, "Why do this? . . . Why suffer through this pain?"
Yet watch the joy your puppies bring and everything's explained.

So when you think of breeders and label them with "Greed"
Think of all that they endure to fill another's need.
For when you buy your puppy with your precious dollars part…
You only pay with money, while they pay with all their heart.

❤️🐾 Zimony Frankly The Best finally arrived to us safe from Serbia thanks to Igor Belanski and his transporter Bo who did an excellent job making sure Frank arrived safely! Thank you Adriano Kamdijas for another wonderful puppy! I'm super excited about him! 🐾❤️

❤️🐾 Hooray looks like puppies will be here anytime. Her reverse progesterone was a 7. The vet said he thinks Sunday. I can't wait to have little babies again! It's been 11 months since my last litter was born! How many babies do you think she will have? 🐾❤️

❤️🐾 A very special thank you to this wonderful couple Scott & Kim who bought Maverick (Joker & Amelia's son) from me a little over a year ago for taking time out of their ski vacation to meet me at the vet so that we could get some of Mavericks semen Frozen so that I could continue Joker & Amelias bloodlines through Maverick! I will have Molly & Maverick puppies later this spring or early summer! It was so nice seeing all three of you again I'm so thankful & proud of that you are part of the Big Sky Boston family! 🐾❤️

❤️🐾 Joker went to his new family on Friday! Needless to say they are soooo in love with him. He is settling in nicely. I can tell Joker adores them as much as they adore him. It's always hard to retire a dog that you have had & love with all your heart. I love him enough to let him go to a family where he will he will live the best rest of his life forever! Thank you Maggie for sending all the pictures they really help my heart so much! I wish all new owners were as awesome as you are with sending updates and photos. My heart is healing so much faster because you care so much! 🐾❤️

❤️🐾 1/2 sisters born 8 days apart. Ziggy & Remi. Ziggy is out of Molly & Joker & Remi is out of Bella & Joker. Both are growing up very nicely 🐾❤️

Thank you Scott & Kim for being excellent puppy parents! Maverick is trained to compete in AKC agility events! I'm so proud of this boy & his human parents! 🐾❤️

Destiny hasn't loved anyone like this since Dan died. She absolutely adores my new husband Chris. She is definitely a "mans dog" Thank you Chris for giving my girl a reason to love someone again! We all love you!
