Been pulling blankets nearly every day for a week!!! Mr Pat is starting to shed--this is way too early. Meadowlarks and Blackbirds are back and that's way to early also. Ground is nice enough to lunge horses and start stretching some legs out. I know it's not going to last but making the most of each day 😎🐎🐎🐎🐎

Well yesterday evening got a little too real when Mr Pat colicked. Suddenly going down in his stall is not what you want to turn around to see. Thank you Sheldon (again ) and Dr Bob Bessert for coming out so quickly and getting him comfortable. Doing okay today so far but he is under a close watch.

At least we were above zero this morning, by 2 degrees!!!! So glad I remembered I had some wind pants in the back of the closet and dug those out to make life somewhat better out in this cold. So grateful the wind has died down--about froze!!

The ladies are here for a few weeks. Calves???? Maybe later 😊

Happy National Horse Day 🐎❤️❤️❤️❤️. These are four of the good ones. However, without Chica❣️,Lady💕, Darlin🥰 and the countless other equines that have been through my life and barn, I must say my life would not have been as rich as it has. Hopefully I’ll get to see them in the hereafter.

So incredibly thankful for this last year. Just a few shots of all to be grateful for. Happy Thanksgiving to all 🦃🥧
