Hygrophila “sp Chai”. A rare pink mutation of Hygrophila lancea araguaia. It can be grown emersed in a paludarium or bog-style setup, or submersed in a high-tech aquarium for a stunning bright pink fore to mid ground plant. In the aquarium, it requires Co2, high light, and a very balanced and algae-free tank to thrive. We have 3 (locally farmed) emersed pots available.

Rankin's dragons are a great alternative for beardie lovers that would like to take up a little less space! Their care and temperament is very similar, however they only get 12in long (including tail). These are the same sub-species as bearded dragons, Pagona. These are a great smaller lizard breeding project as they are docile but also unique and way more interesting! A tank over 40 woulld be plenty of space for one male and a few females, however it's just fine to keep one.
Diet: Like beardies, Rankin's dragons are omnivores. As juveniles, they need more insects than greens, but as adults there should be much more green veggies for them. Their food should be dusted with calcium (with D3) 2-3 times a week.
Lighting: Basking 105-110 degrees, must have UBV. 12 hrs light.
Humidity: Around 20%
Lifespan: 10 or more years

Apistogrammoides pucallpaensis. The only species of it’s genus, they are similar to Apistogramma although remain smaller (under 2”). Unlike many Apistos, they won’t fare well in strongly acidic blackwater. Fairly neutral water is best.
