I began as a receptionist but found I wanted to not only learn more but get more involved hands on with animal care. I was trained as a veterinary technician and did this job for near 13 years. en I see it so that has given my clients the peace of mind and reassurance they are looking for to know their furry family members are in good hands when they are not with them. Health issues, medications or injections are not a problem at all for me to handle. The services we offer are:
- Boarding in our home (licensed with IL Dept of
Agriculture)
- Petsitting care in your home
- Midday dog walks

The advantages of home boarding for your dog vs using Kennels are that your dog won’t have to be confined, nor will they suffer from kennel stress. Our home boarding environment is cleaner and healthier than a dog kennel facility and there are far fewer chances of your dog contracting kennel cough or other dog to dog transmissible diseases. And it’s not just dogs that benefit from dog home boarding, owners can relax and enjoy their vacation knowing their beloved dog is happy and well cared for while they are away from them. We have a fully fenced half acre backyard "dog park", an indoor dog play room and lots of love and attention to give. We are pet owners too and know that the stress of leaving your dog in a kennel can be very overwhelming which is why we do what we do. Knowing your dog is happy in a family home environment with all the home away from home comforts is very reassuring. In my home, your dog will be getting individual care and being treated like one of the family. Boarding is limited to only a few dogs at a time to keep it a fun, yet stress free and relaxed environment for everyone. Space is limited so book early!! Care in your home allows your pet to follow their normal daily routine in the comfort of their own home while you are away on business or on vacation. Many animals do best at home and prefer it this way. Especially those with high anxiety. Being home gives them the feeling of security and safety even if someone else is coming in to care for them. We do drop in visits from morning through bedtime and follow whatever routine your precious fur baby is used to in order to keep their routine as consistent as possible.

The up keep of your home is also our #1 priority. We are happy to water plants, bring in any mail, packages or newspapers (so you wont have to stop your mail or paper service), bring your garbage cans to the curb if you are away for that pick up day and clean up any messes that your pets may make in your absence. Your dog said they want to come play too! 🐶 We offer in-home overnight dog boarding services 7 days a week, and daycare Monday thru Friday from 9 am to 4 pm.

As I was packing for a little family vacation, I noticed Kami was following me everywhere I would go so decided to take a break and give her my full attention. She is two years old and this is the first time she has ever played fetch like this 😹 I was shocked! Especially because she does it better than most dogs since she actually brings it back to me and drops it on her own. 😂 Made me more sad to leave cause now all I want to do is play fetch with my cat, lol
