The first-ever statewide California Adopt-a-Pet Day is happening on June 1! Free adoptions all day for every pet. Preview available animals at sbcanimalservices.org/adopt 🧡
All adoptions will be paid for by the ASPCA in partnership with California Animal Welfare Association.
Though 'free adoptions' may sound alarming to some, peer reviewed academic research shows fee-waived events lead to more animals finding loving homes without increasing return rates or cases of neglect/abuse. Our goal is always to ensure good matches are made.
