Rambo Radish is colorfully vibrant and has a beautifully special bite 🌶 it's spicy without being overwhelming.

We often get a bunch of questions about the specific health benefits of Broccoli microgreens.

Today we're sharing what we know and understand to be true regarding this awesome superfood.

Broccoli microgreens, and a few other cruciferous vegetables, can offer many cancer fighting properties. Sulforaphane is a powerful phytochemical which research is starting to show may help protect your body from cancer.

They are also known to contain DIM (diindolylmethane) which has been shown to provide hormonal balancing effects.

Adding broccoli microgreens to your diet is an easy way to obtain digestible DIM.

Let's talk about Broccoli 🥦 microgreens for a minute.

Broccoli has a rich dark green color and a beautiful stem along with a very distinct flavor profile. As you would expect the microgreen stage of Broccoli tastes very similar to its mature counterpart.

Broccoli is thought to have originated from wild cabbage and was possibly introduced to North America by Italian immigrants.

This red acre cabbage is in our crop plan again this year because we were so happy with it last year!

My daughter loves it raw because of the color 💜

Speckled Pea Shoots are a staple in our house.

They provide additional protein and are an excellent addition to a sandwich, any salad, or used as a simple garnish.

These are my daughter's favorite and the baby shoots have such a fresh spring taste 🌿

Did you know the only difference between sprouts, microgreens, and baby greens are simply stages in a plant's development.

Each stage has slightly different identifying characteristics and varying nutritional values.

Microgreens are harvested at or just before their true leaves appear. In some instances they can contain more nutritional value than a fully grown plant or vegetable.

They are often more flavorful and tender which makes them a great addition to many dishes or eaten by the handful.

We know you've all been wondering what happened to the fresh microgreens the last month. We had to take a small step back to be sure we're offering you all a consistent and quality product that we can fully stand behind.

Believe us when we say, we've missed all of our faithful customers and we're completely grateful for all the support ❤ we had during startup. We're planning bigger and better things but with all growth comes a little pain. Please be patient as we work through the growing pains and be on the lookout for a new local mix 🌱 and some micro favorites 🌻 near the end of September!
