Hello friends and fur-babies! 🐾
Just a friendly reminder that I do offer pet sitting in my home! See additional information below and feel free to reach out with any questions!

🐾 Here are a few things to keep in mind before inquiring about booking a stay with me!
- I have dogs (small and large) and cats of my own, so all guests MUST be safe with other pets.
- There are no children in my home at any given time. All who visit are adults.
- All of my personal pets are well behaved, UTD on shots, and very friendly.
- My personal dogs and dogs that stay with me are crated at night and when I am at work for their safety.
- All guests are given the same luxuries as my own pets, access to the couch, lap cuddles, plenty of dog beds, frequent walks, toys every where, and lots of treats!
- I am always happy to send photos and videos of your fur-babies while they stay with me!

🐾 About me:
- My name is Sarah Grigsby, I’m 28yrs old.
- I have been grooming since 2019!
- I have been an animal advocate my entire life.
- I have lots of experience with special needs pets and with many types of animals in general.
- I have a solid vet reference at Noah’s Ark Animal Hospital in London, KY or Manchester, KY.
- I also have many personal and business references as well.

🐾 When inquiring about booking a stay with me, please include the following information:
- Your dog’s name.
- Your dog’s age.
- Your dog’s size.
- Include both the drop off and pickup dates.
- Any known health issues.
- Any medications your dog needs.
- Any special routine your dog requires.
- Your knowledge of their behavior with other dogs and cats.
- Let me know if your dog is house trained, kennel trained, and leash trained.
- A photo of their rabies certification paper.

🐾 When dropping your dog off with me, please bring these items with your dog:
- Your dog’s food.
- Your dog’s crate.
- Your dog’s collar/harness and leash.
- Your dog’s medications (if any) and medication schedule.
- Emergency numbers and vet contact.
- Optional: a blanket or bed that they prefer with the smell of home on it.
- Feel free to bring any other items you’d prefer that your dog have with them during their stay with me.

I think as a dog groomer, one of the hardest things we go through, is loosing clients when they pass away. Not because of a loss of income, but because many of these dogs become very dear to our hearts. Loved as if they belonged to us. And I suppose, in a soul-connecting way, they do.

These dogs come to us for one day every month or so, for those few hours they are not only groomed, but loved, kissed, petted, cuddled. We bond with those dogs, build trust with them. Even look forward to seeing them on our schedule.

And one day, before you know it, they’re no longer there on your schedule to look forward to. And you feel a wave of pure grief wash over you, even though they’re not your own dogs.

Today, as I tearfully write this, I am thankful that I have taken photos of my clients through the years. I know that today, as with many other days like today, I have given a piece of my heart to a dog no longer on my schedule but instead waiting for her people at the rainbow bridge.

Fellow groomers, please give every dog that comes through your doors extra hugs and kisses for me today. And don’t forget to capture the moments with them, you never know when the last appointment will be.

In loving memory of Molly and all of the other babies I have lost through the years. I will love each of you until the end of time. 🐾
