In Dublin, Ireland, Brian, a retired man just living off a small pension, does something special every single night. He spends those nights making curry for homeless people. And every night, he makes 50 tubs of it.
Brian is cooking volunteer for “A Lending Hand,” which is a non-profit organization that delivers meals and offers sleeping bags to those living on the streets in Dublin.
Says Brian: “I’m delighted to be able to cook and having been trained by a master chef from India. It gives me great solace to be able to bring a hot meal to those hungry and homeless.”
And you gotta believe that it’s people like Brian who make this big old world a better place to live in.

Welcome to Rainbow Rider Ranch! My family and I moved to London in 1984 and started a swim program, London School of Aquatics, that same year.

In 2005 we bought 100 acres to build a barn, run water, put up fences and gates to accommodate our 7 horses. After working and training horses for two years, we began teaching riding lessons in 2007. Our first riding group was named “The Rainbow Riders” because each horse and rider had their own colors. The riding group still exists even though the last original member is now in college.

We offer riding courses for ages 3-99 years; 90-minute classes include grooming and tacking, horse turn out. Also we board horses for the convenience of the riders who want to ride their own horse in class. The first horse is $300 per month, second horse is $200, one rider comes free with each horse. We provide paddock, hay, and water. Horses must have current Coggins test results.
