Hello friends! I'm grateful for your patience and understanding as I've navigated life with this little baby bean. I've established a schedule and have more availability for appointments. Please reach out to schedule fall vaccines, dental floats, chiropractic and/or acupuncture, lameness, and more.

We have more haul in options available east of Lone Jack if interested. For Kansas clients, I do have availability through Dr. Gentry’s office.

We are so excited to share the news that Dr. Haukos is a new Mom! We are happy to introduce Griffin Hall born at 3:01am on Sunday May 19th, weighing in at 8lbs and 1.5oz. Mom and baby are doing great! We wish Dr. Katie Haukos and her husband Matt all the best! Congratulations to you and your new family! Thanks to all of our clients for being so supportive at this time:) We appreciate you all!

We are so happy to announce that Dr. Hannah Locke from Cedar Creek Veterinary Service has offered to come up for the day on Wednesday May 29th to offer Chiropractic services to our clients while Dr. Katie Haukos is out on her maternity leave. Update to clients:

First off I am wanting to reach out and personally thank each of you for how understanding and supportive you have been while we are navigating the changes of adding this little boy into the mix.

Our current plan is that I will finish out seeing appointments (no longer offering equine chiropractic at this time) through the end of April (very few spots open).

My staff (Sandi and Shelby) will be monitoring the phone line and email and will be able to triage all questions to me while I am on maternity leave. I will be offering telemedicine middle to end of maternity leave to current clients that I have performed an exam on your horse in the last 12 months while on maternity leave. Telemedicine will allow me to look at pictures, videos, and chat on the phone with you about a plan. It will be a $50 upfront cost to have the consultation.

We will update everyone on the plan to return from maternity leave once I have delivered and the doctor has cleared me for work.

Don't worry we will be posting updates of the little man once he arrives.

Again, I am so appreciative for your patience and understanding, and we will continue to be there for you and your horse.

**Clinic start times are 10am

- $100 for lecture only
- $300 for ER box and lecture
- $250 for ER box (retail is $400)
**we will be requiring non-refundable $50 for lecture or pre-payment for ER box

Most of you have heard the fantastic news that Dr. Katie Haukos is expecting! This also means that Dr. Haukos will be going on maternity leave in a few months. To help prepare for her leave, we highly recommend our clients to attend one of our Equine Emergency Clinics taught by Dr. Haukos herself!
She will be offering telemedicine services for her clients that attend a clinic and purchase one of our Emergency Boxes.

We hope that you are going into this holiday season as relaxed as Grace! One way that we at Reliance Veterinary Services can help our large fur kid owners with some peace of mind through the busy holidays is to offer our Emergency Box!
These kits include a variety of items and medications that will help if your horse has a wound, an irritated eye, gets an abscess, acts colicky/has stomach upset, is sore and needs some Bute, and many other things.
Often times we are able to help you either handle an emergency via the phone if you have the right supplies or at least triage the situation until we can arrive.
