Please Remember These Halloween Reminders

Halloween Can Be Spooky for Pets. These simple responsible precautions will help humans and pets alike have a safe holiday. Happy Halloween!
*Halloween is not a good night for a dog or cat to be outside.
*Some Halloween decorations can be unsafe for your pets. Fake cobwebs or anything resembling string can be tempting to cats, leading to an intestinal obstruction. candles, even inside pumpkins, can be easily knocked over, burning your pet or even lighting them.
*Keep pets away from all Halloween candy. Most people know that chocolate can be toxic to pets, even in small amounts. However lollipop sticks and foil wrappers can cause blockages in the intestinal tract. Candy sweetened with xylitol can cause a life threatening drop in blood sugar if ingested by a pet.

🐶🐱🩺🥳 We are having the best time, celebrating our amazing Veterinary Technicians this week 🐶🐱🩺🥳
We have planned a week full of activities to help our care team, take a minute to care for themselves.
If you have been part of the Cats & Dogs Animal Hospital Family for a while, you already know our Vet Techs are the absolute best in Long Beach! But did you know they are also talented artists?? They have been flexing their creative muscles all week as they work on stain glass styled paintings of their pets. Creative projects are powerful tools for fighting stress and burnout (big problems in the medical profession.) This is just one of many stress fighting activities and gifts we have planned for them this week.
Another great stress buster, is sharing words of appreciation. Please share a story in the comments about some of your favorite times with our nurses. They would love to read them!

Denise, Linda, Kimmy, Melissa, Clarisa, and Megan... We love you! Thank you for the life saving work you do, every day! 😘😘😘😘😘😘
