Second, tomorrow is PLAY PUPCUP's birthday! 🥳 That's right—on June 28, 2020, in the middle of lockdowns during the early part of the pandemic, I woke up with an idea for a fun card game with fun rules that would get people to laugh. Two years later, I'm filled with joy from all the memories of my family and friends laughing (see just a few of those pics below!) and for being on the verge of crossing another huge milestone of reaching our first Kickstarter campaign. Happy 🏳️‍🌈

Rene and I created our card game to be inclusive. We each come from different backgrounds and know the importance of feeling included and represented. Rene is Mexican American and I'm Filipino American, and together, we're lucky to have a diverse group of family members and friends that we love. We wanted any of them, along with any of our customers, to have fun playing our game regardless of age (ok, they at least have to be old enough to add and subtract 5's and 10s), gender, sexual orientation, race, or political affiliation.

Day 2 update: 14 people have backed and supported Play Pupcup on Kickstarter! The current total raised so far is $791 (out of 10,000). This is great! Many are friends and family but several are people I don’t recognize, which is also a great sign. Thanks to all who backed the project so far. I can’t wait to keep going! 🙌🏾
