Did you know that June is National Pet Preparedness Month? This annual event is all about making sure our furry friends are safe in emergencies. Unsure how to protect your pet? Here are some quick tips to get you started:

🐾 Assemble an emergency kit: Include food, water, bowls, medication, leash/carrier, and a copy of their medical records. Don't forget to add a few comfort items or favorite toys!

🐾 ID your pet: A microchip and a collar with tags are essential.

🐾 Plan your evacuation route: Scope out pet-friendly hotels along the route so you'll never have to worry about leaving your furry friend behind.

🐾 Practice makes perfect: Get your pet used to their carrier and do emergency drills to make sure you're prepared.
