At one time or another you may have wondered what the differences are between your bestie’s groomer & your own hairstylist or, perhaps, you’ve been curious as to why the cost of your pup’s grooming appointment is similar in price to your Brazilian blowout. Here’s the tea:
💆 Your hairstylist doesn’t give you a bath.
🐶Groomers bathe pups from their nose to the tip of their tail at every appointment.
💆 You sit still while your stylist uses sharp objects on your hair.
🐶Antsy or excited pups do not! Groomers develop a steady hand & learn ways to coax pups into remaining in one place during their appointment.
💆 For the most part, your hairstylist only cleans, trims & styles the hair on top of your head.
🐶Groomers address the hair all over your furry fur-iend.
💆 Your hairstylist doesn’t remove the boogies from your eyes or the wax from your ears.
🐶Groomers handle all of the sticky goop that your pup secretes.
💆 No matter how your day is going, the chances of you biting or scratching your hairstylist are pretty slim.
🐶Groomers have cat-like reflexes & years of developing a keen eye that watches out for pups’ sharp edges.
💆 At no point during your salon visit will your stylist tend to your rear end, nor will you cause a p**p situation for them to clean up.

Established in 2008, Healthy Spot was founded by colleagues and friends, Andrew Kim and Mark Boonnark. Passionate pet owners themselves, they realized the dangers of commercial pet foods during the 2007 pet food recall. This set them on their journey to provide the finest foods and products for pets, as well as delivering first-rate services and hosting events to bring the pet community closer together. Healthy Spot is a product of their vision, where we inspire healthy pet lifestyles by creating authentic experiences and foster community, one pet a time.
