5 months old Golden Retriever .
This energetic, powerful , playful and silly puppy enjoys time at Kamp K-9.

The female Golden is also much more independent than the male is. She will be less likely to suffer from separation anxiety

Board & Train is primarily designed for owners who have limited time to dedicate to the training process, including transportation to and from the Kamp K-9 facility. The Board and Train program and is two weeks and requires your dog to board throughout the duration of the program.

Wednesday Kamp K-9 Star ⭐️

Griffin, an extremely shy TEDDY BEAR , recently graduate of the 1-on-1 program.
Through behavioral modification and clear communication, Griffin has gone from being dog reactive to dog tolerant . Under the watchful eyes and careful hands of two Trainers, Griffin undergoes training to understand social cues.

Little by little, he joined the play group

Remember, training takes time, patience, and lots of practice!

Is your pup a distraction escape artist? Wish you had a well-behaved dog who listens anywhere? 🐶🫡

Joining our Lead Trainer, Bill, in our new group class- Establishing Trust Through Obedience- can help!

This 6-week program is designed for dogs 8 months and older and will teach you how to effectively communicate with your dog, even in distracting environments.

Learn:
How to "distraction-proof" your dog's obedience.
Important commands like sit, down, leave it, & a reliable recall.
Essential marker words to establish clear communication.

Perfect for:
Owners looking for a fun & effective way to train their dog.
Those struggling with obedience in distracting environments.
Anyone who wants a stronger bond with their furry friend.

Prerequisites:
Dogs must have completed the 1 on 1 program or a minimum of 1 private training session at Kamp K-9 in order to participate in our adult group training class. This is in order for us to know all of the owners and dogs in our program to ensure value for all customers.

Attendance:
There are 6 classes starting on Monday, May 6 and ending on June 17. There will be one Monday in the program with no class which is May 27 (Memorial Day). There will be no make up sessions.

Next up.....TRAINING!

Sessions today consisted of effective corrections, positive rewards, and obedience "proofing". I mean, look at that faces!

We offer many options when it comes to training, and we want you to be a part of it! We offer 3 types of Training :

1. Day Training is designed to provide Day Kamp guests with training throughout their Day Kamp stay. The training is based on the desires of the owner and typically focuses on basic obedience / socialization.

2. One-on-One Obedience Training focuses on many of the same behaviors as the Day Training program, but with more frequency, longer duration and a broader set of training tools and techniques. One on One training is a 3-day per week program for 5 weeks.

3. Board & Train is primarily designed for owners who have limited time to dedicate to the training process, including transportation to and from the Kamp K-9 facility. The Board and Train program and is two weeks duration and requires your dog to board throughout the duration of the program.
