We’re filled with so much energy after our first public event since the hurricane. Seeing all of your smiling faces and hearing your kind words, encouragement, and unwavering support is what makes our community so special.

Thanks to you, we celebrated 25 adoptions- and countless moments of connection, laughter, and hope. Your presence, your love for animals, and your belief in what we’re rebuilding means the world to us.

*aka horse lovers who care about horses that are not even their own
Please make a contribution to this massive effort at www.FleetOfAngels.org if you can. We will be establishing one- and possibly several, hay banks in the LA area to help horse owners who are fire victims have hay, supplies, and help covering the costs of vet care for disaster-related health issues. This is not a mission that will end when the fires do. It will start then.
Meanwhile, we are the primary provider of hay and supplies to two main equine evacuation centers - Los Angeles Equestrian Center and Pierre College, providing other kinds of services and assistance at other locations and we have approved several individual emergency grants. FOA members have made numerous trips to help evacuate horses from unsafe locations and transported them to safe havens.
Helping insure the health, wellbeing, and comfort of the LA 'fire horses' until their owners have been able to regroup, repair, and start to recover is an effort that will take months.
Our goal is to help prevent any horse from falling into dangerous or deadly hands due to an owner's desperation or crisis. And, we want to help bonded horses stay together for their emotional wellbeing- which is just as important to them as having their physical needs met.
All help is appreciated and will be carefully used to help the equine survivors of the multiple ongoing Los Angeles area fires.
