Welcome back Waylon!

Waylon spent a year and a half at a breeding facility that treated him poorly and cost me dearly. The facility's incompetence cost me the 2024 breeding season and a lot of money without proper documentation and explanation of costs. I used their services to cover my recip mares and embryo and their malpractice led to the termination of good embryos. I have no respect for this crooked and greedy facility with no respect for our animals' lives. I don’t want others to be scammed like I have, if you want any more information let me know. There are good facilities out there, do your homework.

If you are thinking of doing fall ICSI for freezing for spring placement or lining up your spring facility, please read below.

This mare went to Equine Medical for ICSI in Columbia, MO; they pulled an embryo and placed it the first week and then nothing for the next few months on the other studs until the last week and just like that they got another embryo and froze it.

I believe this was a process done just to run up the bill. I received terrible communication and the person I tried to talk to about it was very rude. I believe it is a very rude and dishonest place. My recommendation would be to stay clear.

We wanted to post another update and more information on the situation. This picture is the first and only picture I was allowed to see of the Recip mare Heart. The reproduction facility refused to give any and looking at her laying there in that condition, probably makes sense as to why. This picture was taken at Kansas State just before she was put down and they will not release any information relating to the injury; the reproduction facility is very close to them.

I explained to the Kansas Board of Veterinary Medicine that this was going to happen, and they did nothing to help the situation. They are a very big good old boy network.

Just a reminder to do your homework; there are plenty of reputable reproduction facilities out there. Many reproduction facilities are pushing to do a full embryo freeze to get ahead of spring. Please feel free to call or text me. There are good facilities out there and others are just out for the money.

We want to thank everyone who has liked, commented, and shared our post. We truly appreciate you all helping to bring awareness to this issue.

A little update:
The other mare and foal are doing well.
Because of this facilities greed, dishonesty, and incompetence, our Stallion which was sent there in April of 2023 is still there. What should have taken a max of 6 weeks has turned into over a year. We never received our first statement for over 3 months and have spent thousands of dollars for nothing. The Kansas board of Veterinary Medicine, a taxpayer paid organization, has done nothing and is taking care of their own.
This has been a very trying experience. There are good and reputable facilities out there; please do your homework and research when choosing a facility.

This is Waylon, a beautiful Stallion before going to this facility.

Meet Judge Judy

She is starting to shape backup after being at a very incompetent and dishonest equine reproduction center. The other mare and foal are struggling but hopefully coming around the corner. The recip mare unfortunately never got the opportunity, we are very saddened to report she had to be put down. Our hearts are heavy with the loss and pray the other 2 pull through.
