HITS Week VII
🌟Sally Gibb competed for the first time in the USHJA Jumping Seat Medal Finals on Ponte and the Gladstone Cup on Legoland, putting in great rounds in both finals! Sally and Legoland were also Reserve Champion in the Adult Equitation

🌟Camille Verdicchio’s Cowboy Carter started the week with a Reserve Champion in the TB hunters with Courtney Tom. Then Camille did her first Derby on him and brought home a nice ribbon in the Low Adult Medal

🌟Susan Nitahara and Killiney Bay had two solid rounds in the 2’ Hunter Derby earning a 10th place finish, then successfully made their 2’6” debut in the Low Adult Hunters

🌟Amanda Tom gave young London Fog a great ride over his first .90m tracks

🌟Jourdan Cinnante and Platinum Belle worked hard all week to prep for the upcoming finals

🌟Olivia Thompson & Salham’s Biddle Bug were very consistent in the Children’s Ponies, earning a Reserve Champion.

So proud of all of our horses and riders! Looking forward to another fun week in Saugerties next week for The League Finals!

Sally Gibb and Ponte have had a great few days at Harrisburg! 4th place in the Zone 2 Finals Low Jr/Am Classic and a 5th place finish in the Partridge Run 1.0m Jumper Classic.

Amanda Tom & Infinite E had a great first show together today at the Sussex County Fair. In the TB Hunters they ended up 1st 1st & 3rd with a 2nd place finish in the Classic!

Saratoga was an unforgettable experience! We had a blast and we couldn’t be happier with all of our horses and riders. Some of the highlights of the week include:

🌟Sally Gibb & Ponte winning the USHJA Jumping Seat Medal and qualifying for finals! Then they earned some great ribbons in the .95/1.0m Amateur Jumpers!

🌟Brooke Calhoun & San Diego Z sped their way to Champion in the .95/1.0m Junior Jumpers!

🌟Amanda Tom & London Fog brought home the Champion in the .80/.85 Amateur Jumpers!

🌟Jenna Pappas & Lasting Impression had beautiful rounds in the Low Adult Hunters earning them the Reserve Champion!

🌟 Olivia Thompson & Salham’s Biddle Bug had some great rounds in the Large Children’s Pony Hunters ending up Reserve Champion and they went on to earn a 7th place finish in the Low Hunter Derby!

🌟Jourdan Cinnante & Platinum Belle earned 3rd in the Low Adult Medal and brought home great ribbons in the Low Adult Equitation!

🌟Susan Nitahara & Killiney Bay brought home some great ribbons in the 2’3” USHJA Hunters and put in a lovely trip in their first Low Hunter Derby together!

🌟Annie Horutz & Sedona rocked their way to a 10th place finish in the Low Hunter Derby and brought home a 2nd in a very competitive Low Children’s Hack.

🌟Courtney Tom & Alis Volat Propriis PF earned great ribbons with lovely consistent rounds in the Baby Green Hunters, then Amanda took the reins to pilot her in her first ever Low Hunter Derby!

Another great show day at Sussex!
🌟Alis Volat Propriis PF and Courtney Tom started us off with solid rounds in the Hopeful Hunters and a win over fences!
🌟Jenna Pappas’ Lasting Impression ridden by Tracy Tom was Champion in the Schooling Hunters with a clean sweep of the division.
🌟Camille Verdicchio’s Cowboy Carter was Champion in the 2’6” TB Hunters with Courtney Tom in the irons.
🌟San Diego Z and Brooke Calhoun earned nice ribbons in the 1.0m Jr/Am Jumpers
🌟Sally Gibb and her new partner Ponte made their debut in the 1.0m Jr/Am Jumpers together with some great rounds!

Briarwood Derby Day is always one of our favorite shows! A day spent enjoying our horses, our friends and our sport while helping to raise money for the Hunterdon Regional Cancer Center in honor of Jack Benson and so many loved ones who have battled cancer. So proud of our riders, their horses and our entire support system who made it such a fun day! A huge thank you to Katie Benson and the whole Briarwood Team for putting on another great show!

We had a great time at Princeton this weekend! Olivia Thompson and Salham’s Biddle Bug were Large Children’s Hunter Pony Champions. Brooke Calhoun and San Diego Z were on fire in the Jumper ring, bringing home Reserve Champion in the .90m JR/AM Jumpers. Great job girls!!
