Here at Lionheart Stables, our horses are trained to train you. We are home to 25 beautifully-trained lesson horses that are show quality, safe, and experienced!
If your facility does not have the horse you need to succeed, ride with us! At Lionheart Stables, we are proud to be home to over twenty-five school horses that are not only safe, but experienced over many years and show-quality! All of our horses take riders to shows at all levels, all rings. We have the ability to trial multiple horses to fit your needs and to find the most appropriate fit.
No matter where you stand in your prior experience and current level, we guarantee you will love riding the Lionheart horses! Your program will be a lot easier when you have the ability to learn on horses that are not only well-versed in several different training techniques but designed for a lesson program, with experience with all different kinds of riders. All of our riders advance rapidly and safely, with an individualized program towards your aspirations.
While most facilities require you to have your own horse, we stand as the facility exception. We understand the commitment and cost to lease and/or own a horse is expensive, which is why we are proud to host show quality school horses of large variety, for our riders to learn on and grow with, both at home and in the school ring, and to care for and love like they are their own.
Lionheart Stables offers an incredible lesson program with a variety of excellent lesson and riding packages. Unlike other facilities, Lionheart Stables operates our program seven days a week, with availability at all hours of the day amongst our two incredible trainers, with the opportunity to accommodate busy schedules. We are one of the biggest lesson programs around with safe, talented, and skilled show quality horses that can take you to the next level, both at home and at competitions. Whether you ride once or every day of the week, our riders are all treated with the same respect and motivation for improvement. Our biggest goal is bringing our riders to their aspired level at a rapid yet safe and appropriate pace, with both group and private lessons available.
We as well host both an IEA Team and a Show Team for riders of all age, level, and prior experience. We attend shows across the east coast from local schooling shows, to rated competitions, to final championships. We bring riders from the leadline to the higher level hunters, equitation, and jumper rings with great success and confidence.
Amenities include, but are not limited to:
🦁Indoor Arena fully equipped with Footing First LLC custom footing, designed for the top rider and horse pairings. Our indoor arena is located central to the main barn, and remains climate controlled all season long
🦁Outdoor Arena, Grass Grand Prix Field, On-Property Trails, and On-Property Access to Townwide Columbia Trail
🦁Climate-Controlled Bathrooms, Tack Room, and Viewing Lounge, as well as heated wash stalls
🦁Climate-Controlled Traveling Tack Trailer for our long competition days
🦁Two incredible trainers that boast years upon years of experience in disciplines from Hunter/Jumper to Dressage to Western Pleasure. Both have grand experience riding and competing, breaking and training young horses including OTTBs, and training riders of all levels. Our trainers have availability seven days a week, at nearly all times of the day, and the ability and aspirations to bring you to the level you wish to be at
