Clearly, Husa didn't think I did a thorough job washing my face this morning.
I've seen Echo several times in the past year. He usually turns his back to me, but today he began vocalizing and interacting with me. I'm hoping to get him to say "I'm VAL'S PAL" one of these days.
Bella and Reno haven't seen each other in a long time, but Reno obviously recognizes her voice.
Most VP families have been with us for almost three decades, trusting in our care of each generation of their precious pets.
We welcomed Luna's family back into the fold this summer.
Luna does a little dance before our walks, and fills every step with joy and enthusiasm.
Uno says, "Honest, I'm really happy to see you, but I'm not fully awake yet."
Mr. Marbles is always waiting for me at the door with a serenade.
Maggie brings Golden to a whole new level.
Yes, I'm out visiting PALS whose families are away.
"Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds."
One of our clients once said, "The post office has nothing on VAL'S PALS."
A visit to these two isn't complete without an exhilarating game of fetch.
Quite a few of our Daily PALS prefer a fun exercise program instead of a walk, or a little bit of both. Stella, the smaller Shepherd, and Chita enjoy a game of fetch every day after they do their business. Stella stays on a long line to play safe, and Chita supervises every throw without giving up her ball.
They're so sweet and loving, and always add extra smiles to my face.
Nothing like a thorough brushing to start the day.
Mr. Marbles is diabetic and needs strictly timed visits for his insulin shots. He's a very vocal kitty and greets me at the door with enthusiasm at every visit. He's a good patient too, never making a fuss about getting his shot. But, by far, his favorite part of our time together is getting a good brushing.
Nothing like a romp in the snow.
Reno's younger brother, Duke, came to spend the weekend. Bella entertained him in her usual fashion.
