Tulo and Dee: Brand Reps

David loves to try to hold my hand at night. This cat is a once in a lifetime cat. He cuddles with every living being that comes in my apartment. He is the FIRST to greet a foster puppy by rubbing against them and purring, especially if they are terrified. I don’t think there has been a crying person he hasn’t comforted by just purring on their lap since I got him. I don’t even like calling him “dog-like” because honestly he’s sweeter than a ton of dogs out there. And he is also some random rescue cat from southern New Mexico with the most common markings. With all my rescues and fostering, my biggest piece of advice is choose your pets by their personalities, not because you’re looking to be unique. And of course I won’t forget to remind you that if you buy a pet, you’re sentencing one like David Bowie to die, and we don’t take too kindly to that in this apartment.

So another post about the AMAZING and the portraits of my pets she's doing. This is her picture of Dee. It could not be more perfect, I am legitimately looking for a flower crown for her now because I know she would LOVE it. Hello animal friends! So the unbelievable is an PHENOMENAL artist and she is taking commissions on her art. I of course wanted pictures of my zoo members, and this is her AMAZING drawing of Tulo. Just so you know, she does NOT charge enough for how incredible they are. So speak to her about yours ASAP before she realizes how amazing she is and starts charging the thousands and thousands she is worth! I will post them as she draws them so you can see how phenomenal she is.

This Christmas package just arrived and this is 20 seconds after I took it out of the box. After an intense negotiation with Jane and David, I agreed to keep it for a few days but it is getting locked up at night because I know a future site of mutually assured destruction when I see one.

This is Buffy the Vampire Slayer. She’s about 4 months old and continues the streak of the sweetest foster dogs ever after Molly and Poppy. She loves kids, other dogs, and cats and is very polite with them all. She loves to meet new people and play with anyone who’s willing, but her favorite activity is kissing her foster dad on the mouth when he’s not expecting it (a passion not shared by her namesake, much to her foster dad’s disappointment). She’s working on being 100% on housetraining and basic commands, but she seems to be very smart and eager to please so training will likely go quickly with her. She has that awesome brindle pattern that isn’t TOO common with bigger dogs too. Her favorite song is Love Bomb Baby by Tigertailz (of course with her coloring). Please send me a quick note if you’re interested in Buffy, she is another AMAZING dog.
