We started the process of doing a DNA test on our puppy, “Ladybug”. We will mail in the swabs tomorrow and await the results. My guess is she’s a “Borador” - a Border Collie/Labrador mix. Anyone else want to take a guess? We’ll let you know when we get the results!

Meet , the newest member of our family. She is a 6 month old lab mix that we adopted from here in . “Bug” was a stray from Utah and passed through 5 homes before getting to us. She has a lot of energy which can be overwhelming to the uninitiated! But she is full of love and is very eager to please. She is as sweet as can be and is increasingly well behaved as she settles into a routine with us. Early morning trips to the dog park help burn off her energy which helps her focus and learn better the rest of the day. We will give you updates on Bug as she settles into her new family!

Then we thought if we removed the gifts we would just have the pine trees - which were beautiful in their own right. It also meant that this bowl could be seen as a Christmas Bowl but it could also be seen as a year round Bowl with a nature theme. So don’t put this bowl away once the holiday left overs run out!
