It’s spooky season! 🎃 Find us and your newest ghostly friends at the Longmont Farmers Market on Saturday from 8am - 1pm at the Boulder County Fairgrounds!

These handmade ceramic ghost tealights will ONLY be available at this weekend’s FINAL Artisan market 👻 We will also have our signature DIY Rainbow Chime Kits available at this end-of-season fall artisan market.

We're excited to welcome Eliot Arts to the studio to lead our next Monthly Make-Along! We're creating a different project together each month, and on November 7th from 4-5:30 we'll be making tiny, colorful, ceramic pumpkins.

No experience is required! The $30 fee includes all materials and firing, and you'll have time to create several pumpkins in the colors of your choosing. Hope you can join us!

So grateful for the folks sharing stories about their beloved pets, sending photos, and ordering our pet remembrance chimes for their loved ones ❤️ We create the personalized charms each morning, then we smooth, dry, and fire them in batches twice a month. Our next batch is headed for the kiln on Monday.

Excited to see y’all this weekend!

A quick reminder that this weekend is the Tiny Longmont Studio Tour and I hope you'll be able to make it out to join the 19 artists who are set up at four studios within less than a mile of each other. The studio I'll be showing with is located at 1012 Aspen St, Longmont, just an easy jaunt off of the intersection of Francis and 9th. Look for the signs for the open art studio, or, I have no doubt Google Maps will do a superb job of getting you to us.

Saturday, June 8: 10a-4p
Sunday, June 9 12p-4p

We'll have addresses for all four locations available, so you can stop at any of the studios and get the information for the other participating studios.

A couple of highlights for our stop on this studio tour:
- Fettle & Fire will have a clay activity for visitors to participate in, if you choose. She (Lindsey) will be set up outdoors with a tent and will undoubtedly make it a very pleasant experience.
- Eliot Arts (that's me!) will have a table of items for $10 or less (THIS WEEKEND ONLY), so if you know of anyone who is in need of (or want of) tableware and/or smaller items, please help spread the word about the event. Help me clear out the excess -- I truly have limited storage and need to find homes for these items.

We try to keep it light on the ‘gram but here’s some real life: last night, we installed bars over our sliding windows at the studio. Our first four years here, we could leave orders on the porch for pickup, honor-system style, and then we switched to a “secret” pickup box about a year ago. Someone stole a couple orders at Christmas so we attached a locked box to our porch for pickups, and the lock was recently stolen right off it! We’ve had a bit of graffiti and property damage here and there, and someone slashed a screen and tried to shimmy a window open a couple nights ago, which felt like a new low. I don’t see many folks talking about what happens when you buy in an “up and coming” area that goes the other direction, but here we are, figuring it out as we go. Shout out to craigslist Andy who gave me a great deal on the window bars he no longer needed! 🙌
