It is with great sadness that we announce our beloved Dexter passed over the rainbow bridge last month. Our hospital feels a little less full and a little more quiet with him gone, but we are forever changed with the love that Dexter gave us. He learned how to play again, how to walk and run again, and to be the best hospital cat ever. When he wasn't screaming at us for a second breakfast, he was purring and making biscuits in someone's arms. He was so tolerant of the costumes and outfits that he was constantly put in, again purring and making biscuits the whole time. He was the best recovery nurse for our surgery patients, sitting by their side after anesthesia. We feel so thankful that we gave him the best six months of his life, pain free and full of love. We know he touched the hearts of not just us, but our A Pet's Place community so we thank all our clients who met him, loved him, and followed his recovery story. We all miss you, Dexter.
