💔 Waiting for the Unthinkable: Will’s Story 💔

Right now, at Misfits of Oz Sanctuary, one of the most painful battles is being fought—a battle to say goodbye to a beloved soul, not because he’s suffering, but because of a system that refuses to see his life as anything other than a “threat to food animals.”

Will, who has brought joy and love to so many, tested positive for pseudorabies—a herpes strain in pigs. It poses no risk to humans and cannot spread in the sanctuary where he lives peacefully. But the law doesn’t care. They’ve mandated his euthanasia to protect the food industry.

For weeks, Misfits of Oz Farm Sanctuary has fought desperately—begging for exceptions, jumping through hoops, and exhausting every option. But their hands are tied by unjust regulations that prioritize profit over compassion.

Will is still here. He’s watching sunsets, snuggling, and soaking in every ounce of love he so deeply deserves. But the clock is ticking, and the heartbreak of knowing this incredible soul is being taken is unbearable.
