We started Elevated Communities Cat Cafe Cafe as a non-profit to create a cozy, welcoming environment for cats and humans alike. A community-driven environment that fosters inclusivity, compassion, and positive change through the combined love for animals and the empowerment of individuals with intellectual disabilities.

What an amazing Winter Fest! ❄️🐾 We’re still smiling thinking about all the laughter, family fun, crafts, treats, and—of course—so many wonderful kitties. Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate with us and helped make the day so special.

Meet Sniper 😼🦉

Sniper is a friendly (and occasionally feisty) guy who knows exactly what he likes. He loves being right in the middle of family life—following the action wherever it goes—but he’s also a fan of sunny windows, cozy naps, and wildlife-watching. With those alert ears and watchful eyes, we’re still not convinced he isn’t an owl in disguise!

He’s generally low-maintenance and loves pets… just be sure you hit the “just right” spot. Miss it, and you may get a gentle, playful nip as a reminder 😉 Sniper is a champion napper who adores cozy beds and warm laps—and fair warning, he may not want to move once settled in.

When he’s rested, it’s zoomie time! Strings, stuffed mice, and anything that moves are his jam. Sniper is moderately vocal and sports a charming, goat-like meow to announce mealtime or request door service. He does well with kids, enjoys being carried and cuddled, and thrives when play and affection happen on his terms. 💙🐾

Our resident cats would like to wish you a year filled with warm laps, gentle purrs, surprise biscuits, and lots of love. Thank you for supporting our café, our rescue partners, and all the whiskered friends who make this place so special.

✨ Friendly reminder: the café will be closed all day on New Year’s Day while the humans and kitties rest and recharge.

Here’s to another year of cuddles, chaos, naps, and happy tails!!
