Baby Lotto is doing amazing! He is growing and gaining weight like a rockstar. His little but very big personality is super fun and incredibly naughty. He is in that very touchy stage of balancing manners with boundaries and boredom.

He really likes kids, a lot! But of course he does, it’s in his Morgan DNA! We now know he turned a year old on February 28 and we will be working on coordinating his registration in months coming. His previous owner is wonderful and we have enjoyed getting to know all about his Dam and Sire. This little guy has a very bright future!

Today we introduced him to the big ball and he is having the best time playing! Enjoy!

Thank you Equine Unbound for always taking such great care of our sweet Morgan’s. Ella has been a journey and you have been a wonderful part of that path.

I am always grateful for the amazing team we have here for our students and horses. Without each other we would never get where we are now. Healing horses hearts and souls inside and out is a process that takes so much time and energy with attention to every detail as they communicate their needs. The trust they give in us is precious and never taken for granted.

What an amazing day! These kids, the community, our beautiful Morgan horses, and so many volunteers and parents gave all they had today to show true Bel Amour!

Every year I watch the kiddos shine their knowledge and skills and my heart grows infinity. It is truly magical. The farm continues to change and mold to the our growing farm family and there is nothing more special then having this incredible day annually to really embrace that growth.

More then once I was brought to tears as I silently watched and listened to each kiddo take the lead at their assigned station. They gave tours, told each horses story, educated so many about the Morgan horse and horsemanship skills, promoted the best safety, and encouraged imagination and laughter. I lost count at how many people commented on their knowledge and kindness. They owned this farm!

The dream I always had for Bel Amour Farm has always been so much bigger then just learning to ride horses but rather to engage social skills, encourage healthy relationships, embrace learning life skills, and grow as people with these magical horses by their sides. Today we took the next step in that dream to raise funds to build a scholarship in collaboration with a local organization to provide 12 weeks of lessons and necessary attire to a nominated teen. We met our financial goal! I cannot thank you all enough for for helping us realize that dream!

I am so proud of our amazing kiddos! Spring break camp session 2 has been full of learning, work, and lots of laughter. These kids have helped pull together the magic that will be Cuddle A Farm Animal Day for our fantastic community. They have owned every ounce of the farm and they are so proud.

Meet the Morgan horse, do some fun crafts, plant your own flowers to take home, buy a homemade baked good, enjoy a horseshoe scavenger hunt, swing from the tire, walk our trails, learn all about horses, paint and groom the horses, meet our goats and Bits the big Pig! If you have never met a Morgan Horse we’ll now is your chance. This breed is like no other. They are the kindest, most generous, in tune, versatile breed around.

The Morgan is the oldest breed in America and the most versatile in the world. Long standing as the the best family horse for all the reasons you will see when you visit.

Often people ask why I chose the Morgan. My response is simple: take a walk and meet them and then come back and you tell me. So I invite you to visit this weekend and you tell me why this breed is the very best!

March 22, 12pm-5pm! $5 for adults and $3 for kiddos. All proceeds to benefit our scholarship fund to support a special chosen kiddo thru collaboration with a local organization. Little kiddo hearts of gold thriving and growing into the best part of themselves here on our little farm. Using their imaginations and sharing kindness and compassion. I watch so many different personalities come together in one place and find common ground. They help each other with out one second thought. They never ever leave anyone out or let anyone feel alone or like the new kid. They all share in just finding joy in being themselves here at Bel Amour Farm. They take pride in true work and they can’t wait to learn more!

Watching them grow is a gift and it makes every single day so full of energy and grace. I am grateful. ☺️

What an amazing spring break full of fun with amazing kiddos and beautiful horses.

We have learned about equine health, nutrition, care and management, training, and so much more!

The kids had some extra special moments that they will always treasure and I am so grateful for all who help me make it happen!

Neal McCoy met us at his beautiful ranch so we could bring home his amazing Gypsy Vanner, Seven. Seven is looking fantastic and was ready to be home! Thank you Judson Road Animal Clinic for taking great care of this sweet boy. The kiddos ran all over and even fed some catfish while visiting the cows!

Today we had a super cool coordinated helicopter fly over. The pilot is mapping the emergency roads and has worked out a plan with us to fly low (at a safe height) and slow over the horses to help desensitize them to the noise and blowing. The kids were able to learn why this is important and experience what and how we prepare for the what seems very quick activity. The horses did amazing! Thank you to our pilot!

Next up, we are storm prepping and learning all of the why and how’s! These gals are doing fantastic at taking in all the information and giving back what they have learned. They are working super hard to be my little assistants for the week and I am so proud of them!

And then baby Lotto! Of course they get to help with baby training. They are learning about rehabilitation and nutritional impacts on growing young horses. The handling and helping Lotto understand boundaries all while developing new skills are so important and these girls are rocking it!

What a week and it is only Wednesday!!!
