Wishing all our furry friends and their families a happy and safe Fourth of July! While you enjoy the celebrations, don't forget to keep your pets safe and calm amidst the fireworks.
Did you know, more pets go missing July 4th weekend than any other time of the year? Fireworks and loud noises can cause pets to run away. If your pet isn't microchipped, we strongly recommend booking your appointment, as it greatly increases the chances of reunification should your pet run away. If your pet is microchipped, be sure the contact information is up to date and they have a tag on their collar with emergency information! #NationalLostPetPreventionMonth

July 4th
Happy Fourth of July! Be sure that your pets are comfortable and safe while celebrating today.
With Independence Day just a few weeks away fireworks are inescapable, depending on where you live. So, if the noises trigger your dog’s flight response, they may try to run. In fact, more dogs run away on the Fourth of July than any other day of the year.
So, we at Lower Columbia are asking that all clients with pets that need medications to help with their anxiety during the holiday give us a call and pick these up prior to the holiday as we will be closed on the 3rd and 4th of July in observance of this holiday.
We want to make sure that your pets are as comfortable as possible during this stressful event. Please give us a call/text at (360) 636-1801 or email us at [email protected].
