Attention all Chick seekers...

We fully understand the frustration our customers are experiencing while trying to achieve your ideal flock this year. Please know that us at Western World, are doing our absolute best we can given the current circumstances. We are being as upfront and transparent as possible. Hatcheries are sold out across the country and we only get what we have pre ordered back in December before the chicken frenzy happened. We are relaying the most current information we have in regards to expected breeds, shipping and arrivals days/times. Our hatchery pulls from 3 different locations which largely impacts when they ship and arrive. This information is not always immediately available to us. If you are calling or stopping in for an update, please know we are giving you the information we have. Please understand that there are many factors that can effect our deliveries. Bad hatches result in no chicks or a sub with a breed we did not order. Wheather and location affects arrival and survival rates. The question everyone asks is if we will hold them. We can not because if we did, all of the chicks we have pre orders would already be spoken for and we would be sold out through the rest of the season. We have put a 5 Chick limit to try and give others a chance to purchase chicks so the first person in line can't buy them all.
We are as frustrated as our customers. Especially when we are expecting a particular breed and amount to receive something entirely different or non at all.
Please be kind to our staff and know that we want you to get exactly what you want as much as you!

🐣Chick update🐣
Unfortunately due to inclement weather where our chicks ship from, the hatchery was unable to ship the 2nd half of this week's chick order. We have chicks scheduled to come in next week and are hoping the hatchery will be able to include this week's breeds along with next week's order.
