We appreciate KLTV 7 joining us yesterday to acknowledge our clinic efforts!! It’s all about educating and providing resources to our community empathizing the importance of keeping your pets happy and healthy through proper vet care and getting them microchipped so they are safe. 🐶🐾👏

Pet owners from across Gregg County came to Maude Cobb Convention Center Sunday for a drive thru clinic allowing them to get their pets vaccinated, micro-chipped and checked for minor health issues all while staying in their cars.

PAWSOME Friends, what a DAY!! Safe to say Bernard’s smile goes for all of us after the tremendous labor of LOVE wrapped this afternoon at our FREE Drive-Thru VACCINE/MICROCHIP CLINIC- Gregg County, Texas!!

In a little over 3 hrs, 302 animals left Maude Cobb today healthier, safer and a little more loved and we couldn’t be more proud. HUGE THANKS to the 60+ Volunteers including 6 Veterinarians and 18 Vet Tech’s from our local community that gave their time to make our 4th free vaccination/microchip clinic the most efficient yet.

So many more “thank you’s” and incredible photos capturing our day to come. Stay tuned!!

Longview PAWS partnering with Longview Animal Care and Adoption Center and grant funding from Petco Love will host our next FREE Drive-Thru Vaccination/Microchip Clinic for residents of Gregg County, tomorrow, Sunday, November 10th, from 1-4 PM at the Longview Convention Complex - Maude Cobb -100 GRAND BLVD., Longview 75604. LINE FORMS off Cotton St. at Maude Cobb entrance. LINES WILL NOT FORM BEFORE NOON. Supplies are limited to 400 animals- we will stop the line at that #.

Longview PAWS mission is to be a resource for the people and animals in our community. If we can help those that need an extra hand or a little help, we will. We want to ensure as many animals in our community are happy, healthy, safe, and loved; proper veterinary care is vital in that. Because of our generous donors of the PAWS and Effect Project and Petco Love's Vaccinated and Loved program, we're able to offer this Fall clinic. We also want to thank the many, many local members of our veterinarian community and countless volunteers GIVING their TIME to offer this valuable service.

Follow Event and see included Flyer for complete details. MUST be a RESIDENT of GREGG COUNTY, TX and address verification WILL BE VERIFIED upon arrival. Participants must remain in their vehicle, and a limit of 2 PETS PER VEHICLE—not per person (dogs/cats accepted) allowed. This is a package offering- no exceptions. MICROCHIPS are NOT OPTIONAL. No other services will be offered at this time.

We reserve the right to refuse service to unruly, unmanageable animals and/or humans. Except a WAIT but we're coming prepared to work thru the line so bear with us. Line WILL NOT form before 12 PM. BE NICE, PLEASE—this is 100% volunteer-based!!

BIG SHOUTOUT to the incredible shelter staff at the Longview Animal Care and Adoption Center in honor of National Animal Shelter Appreciation Week!! This team (missing some in our photo) works tirelessly to ensure that the animals in our community are safe and loved. It isn't an easy job, its physically and mentally taxing most days but they show up 365 days a year because the animals need them!!

Often vilified and made to feel like the abundance of unwanted animals is "their" crisis to fix, they don't hear "THANK YOU" enough. East Texas, we're FORTUNATE to have this team fighting the fight. Help show them some love!! Support your local animal shelter.

People let me tell ya about my BEST FRIEND... FRIDAYS are for FRIENDS and FUN!!! We have no idea how these 2 incredible young gents are STILL WAITING for their forever best friend.

Meet EYEBROWS and RALPH!! Both of these boys have been with us for over a month. They're growing up here and it's simply not fair. They are such good pups and have so much to give. Help us share their stories!!

As you can tell, both LOVE other dogs. They're actually our playgroup rockstars and help with potential meet & greets. They've learned manners, leash walking and enjoy playing AND cuddling. Ralph is @ 1.5 yrs old, neutered, HW- and only 40 lbs. Eyebrows is 8 months old, neutered, HW- and only 30 lbs.

WE had a BALL!!! So much FUN at our HOWLS & GROWLS- Halloween Fun for Pets & People Saturday afternoon... Despite the abnormally warm October day, LOTS of SMILES and SWEET TREATS for our 2 and 4 legged friends.

HUGE "Thank You" to all our incredible Vendors who all play a pivotal role in our Animal Welfare Community!! We appreciate you giving us your time and effort each year at this Event. THANKS to everyone who dressed up and showed out for our Pet Costume Contest!! So much creativity and cooperation with costumes and make-up on a 90 degree day.

We appreciate the Longview Animal Care and Adoption Center staff, volunteers and our Longview PAWS Board for stepping up. We can't do anything we do without our community and we appreciate each of you...

Good time had by ALL!! Thanks to everyone who joined us yesterday for our annual HOWLS & GROWLS- Halloween Fun for Pets & People!! Despite the crazy warm temperatures, our community showed up. We appreciate you and more photos to come. . .

Costumed characters and canines had their fill of candy and treats Saturday during the Longview Animal Care and Adoption Center's Howls & Growls Halloween event.
