EARLY PICK-UP for Event Tees and Bandannas starts TODAY, Tuesday. If you are a Registered Walker or Sponsor, you can pick up your Shirts/Bandannas from 12-5 PM Tuesday thru Friday in our Adoption Lobby- 303 HG Mosley Pkwy, 75604.

EVERYONE (Registered Walkers- as of right now, Sponsors & Vendors) should have received an email with ALL the DETAILS for Saturday. Make sure you look in your Inbox (check Spam if you don’t see it). We sent to the name/email you used for sign-up.

these absolutely adorable AND ADOPTABLE pups enjoyed some fresh air and rough housing. ENRICHMENT is KEY to mental and physical well-being in the shelter environment. just letting them be "DOGS" makes their experience much more enjoyable.

make plans to join us for our March VOLUNTEER ORIENTATION. if you're looking for a way to get involved, do your part, enrich the lives of our shelter animals, look no further!! stop in this Saturday, 3/8 at 10 AM and hear about all the ways to VOLUNTEER. give us an hour and you'll be set-up to start your volunteer journey- Longview Animal Care and Adoption Center- 303 HG Mosley Pkwy, 75604.

As many of you know, thru funding from Longview PAWS and in response to February being Responsible Pet Owner month, Longview Animal Care and Adoption Center offered FREE MICROCHIPS to Gregg County residents the entire month.

We're PROUD to ANNOUNCE that 757 OWNED animals are now microchipped!! That's 757 animals in our community who are now safe and at less risk should they be separated from their owner. We want to take a moment and THANK the STAFF of LACAC and our Animal Control Officers. It was ALOT of time, energy and effort to make this happen. HUGE KUDOS to Brittany Mills, LACAC's Community Outreach Coordinator, who spent every open hour this month ensuring the community was met with open arms and accommodated quickly and safely.

Thanks also to our COMMUNITY who took advantage of this offer and brought their animals into the shelter!! We met many loving, caring pet owners and we appreciate you doing the right thing.

Our free microchip offer is over for now but all of our local Veterinary offices offer microchips everyday. Please be sure to ask about a chip next time you're in!!
