With every approved adoption application, an animal will leave spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on all age-appropriate vaccines. We'll be WAIVING ADOPTION FEES for all approved applications for TODAY ONLY, so jump on this opportunity and help CLEAR THE SHELTER!

Looking for a Netflix and chill kinda gal?!? Meet Sleepy Sally. She’s down for any kind of lazy day. This laid-back lady came to us as a stray and her gentle, calm nature has won the hearts of all of us.
Sally is a 2-year-old, Spitz/Chow mix who will gladly join you on the couch for a lazy day of binge-watching Bridgerton. She adores cuddling, enjoys a stroll in the grass and her lackadaisical personality makes her an ideal companion for anyone with a slower pace.
Sleepy Sally is heartworm-negative, spayed, chipped and vaccinated and can go home today for a $25 adoption with an approved application at Longview Animal Care and Adoption Center.

Sweet girl is a 3-year-old, 60-pound pittie BEAMING with LOVE and AFFECTION.
Somehow this lovely little lady found herself lost on I-20 and ended up in our shelter.
As you can see, she adores giving hugs, easily gets the zoomies and will extend handshakes or slobbery kisses to those she meets. 💋
Anyone would be so lucky to have her join their family. She’ll be spayed, chipped and vaccinated with her adoption. Come meet this sweetheart today!

Meet SHOVEL and WETZEL PRETZEL! 🥨 🐶
Shovel has grown up here at the Longview Animal Care and Adoption Center, going on 36 days of boring ‘ol kennel life. We don’t know why! He’s the cutest 6-month-old coonhound pointer mix.
Wetzel Pretzel is a 9-month-old terrier mix with just the sweetest face.
These two are the BEST of FRIENDS! Two peas in a pod. Both will stay medium-sized pups, both super healthy, active, and heartworm-negative and obviously GREAT with other dogs. They’re having so much fun together! It just makes you smile to watch.
If you’re looking for a good time, either Shovel or Wetzel Pretzel would be so grateful for a FUREVER home. Come visit these playful pups today!

Meet Jimmy Gourd, one of our longest residents at the Longview Animal Care and Adoption Center! He came in as a stray on May 20th.
As you can see, Jimmy is super toy-motivated and loves playing with ropes or balls. 🎾 He gets along great with other dogs and would thrive with an active family🏃🏻♂️ 🐾
If you’re looking for a tug-of-war partner, Jimmy’s your guy!
