Quick holiday reminder for all the pups! We are open normal hours today for daycare, boarding, and self wash. We even still have a few kennels open for the holidays if you forgot to make arrangements!

We have reduced hours of 9-10am and 6-7pm tomorrow (Christmas) and on New Year's Day.

As a reminder to our daycare pups, we will not be open for daycare services on Thursday, July 4th in observation of Independence Day. We will be operating as usual on Friday, July 5th.

For our pups coming in for boarding the day of, we will be open during our limited hours from 9-10AM and 6-7PM.

Please try to keep your pups cool and calm as this holiday isn't one of their favorites.

Please also be on the lookout for lost and scared pups so they might be reunited with their families.

Stay safe, and please pay attention to the weather and fire warnings for your immediate areas.

We just received word from the North Pole that Santa photos will be available for pick-up at the Dog Zone tomorrow morning!

Recently, a mysterious new respiratory virus has surfaced in dogs in the Willamette Valley area and other locations across the country. The Dog Zone is paying very close attention, but we haven't yet seen it in our area. It's similar to Bordetella (Kennel Cough), but there's no vaccination for it because the vets are still trying to figure it out. In most cases the virus is like a cold is to us, but in older dogs or dogs with a compromised immune system it can become quite serious. When in doubt, PLEASE take your dog to the vet. Symptoms are coughing, sneezing, runny nose or eyes, and lethargy. If a dog comes into The Dog Zone showing symptoms, we'll turn it away. If a dog who is already here starts showing those symptoms, we'll quarantine it and move it away from the premises ASAP. We'll quickly notify the dog's owners so that they can take the appropriate medical action. We care for your dogs as if they were our own!
