Bubbles was by far the most matted...her rear leg alone took about 2 hours to trim away. Her nails were completely engulfed in matted hair.
Arnie was a stinker but I was able to save his topfloof and tail.
Both are feeling so much better.

These two sweet strays, through no Faults of their own, have ended up in dire need of a full scrub down and a shortcut all over for matting. Arnie the doodle has less matting but boy he is a stinker, and beautiful little bubbles is nothing but one big mat. But I love a good messapalooza, so stay tuned for there after shots. These sweet babies are my number one concern today!

Kitty transport! I had the pleasure of taking these three little Cheetos to get their vaccinations this morning. Loved the staff at Judson Road Animal Clinic, fast friendly and a very enjoyable atmosphere.

Sometimes we have vet appointments and we just can't get there! Call me if you need your furry friend delivered promptly to the vet, boarding, or anywhere else really, we have travel kennels available, and I am actually USDA animal transport certified.

Thank you Kimberly Brown-Brooks for your trust in me for this old dudes spaw day!

I enjoyed spending a leisurely day with this guy, getting to know him while grooming in intervals, so he stayed cool calm and collected for our session.

Most dogs, especially seniors, do better with plenty of breaks during cuts. This allows their skin time to adjust, the blades time to cool and clean, and most importantly it gives both dog and groomer a moment to reset.

Hyperkeratosis can occur in several areas, but most often on the snout and paw pads. It is very common in seniors and canines with chronic illness.
It can range from uncomfortable to very painful, and create an environment for bacteria/ yeast to grow.
I have practiced and studied on careful and sensitive removal of the excess cutaneous matter. If you have a pup struggling with this issue please speak to me about what we can do to take care of it.

This sweet old lady Catahoula was in my salon this morning with so much class and a touch of sass!
Thank you so much Amelia for allowing me to get your precious gal squeaky clean and super soft. I always say that the products really do matter. These are the washing products I used on today's client. Jacks & Daisy is good for older dry skin always, but it is really that Crown Royal limited that I swear by! It lasts very long time, and the coat is always lovely soft.

Thanks Susy Kennedy Rosonke for allowing me to care for your precious fur babes, these two are sensitive as Maisie has the only recently recovered from surgery, and Finn has a pretty severe skin issue that must be tended to carefully. I treat all of the animals in my care with the utmost love and careful attention, I have experience in senior animal skin care and I do my best to tailor shampoos conditioning and other grooming Necessities to each and every individual dogs needs.

These Wildlife Adventures will be specially tailored to your pup or pups (2 max per hike) breed specific needs, interests, and safety.

Time can be modified, but as standard this All-Day Canine-Crusade will start with Morning pick-up & 2 solid hours on the trails, to be determined daily.

Then, after working up an appetite we will settle at a local park for a midday lunch and 30 minutes Rest, Rubs, & Recovery Protein Snacks (Pre-approved of course).

Once our fuel is restored, we will head over to my home salon and get all scrubbed up, blow-dried, and brushed out.
So No evidence of our woodsy wandering remains on our fur or goes home with us!

While I lack professional grooming experience and training, I strive to provide essential services to those in need, particularly rescues and low-income families. Recently, I groomed three small white dogs, performing a short all-over cut. Although two retained some facial hair, one required a complete shave. For $25, I provided a comprehensive grooming package, including shaving, washing, conditioning, blow-drying, ear cleaning, teeth brushing, nail clipping, and grinding. To encourage regular maintenance, I offer a discounted monthly follow-up service, charging half the initial price for ongoing grooming needs, encompassing bathing, brushing, trimming, ear, nail, and teeth care, exclusively for pets that have undergone a complete transformation.

Today, I had the pleasure of working with Popsicle, a delightful senior dog rescued by Big Dog Rescue. After receiving medical attention, my focus was on rectifying his severely matted coat, specifically removing the extensive sticker burrs. Thanks to his compact size and gentle disposition, the process was completed within two hours. Popsicle's appreciation was evident.

Today I want to Spotlight a new product I'm using! I had never heard of this brand and it doesn't really draw much attention to the eye, however it works fantastically for getting those oily breeds clean and fresh! It smells like a freshly peeled perfectly ripe orange and it foams so nicely the coverage is great. Request when booking if you'd like me to try it out on your dog or cat!

I've been so happy this week to have the opportunity to scrub your puppies clean Destiny Sipes !
I am grateful to all of our Fosters and everyone involved in the rescuing of these sweet babies.
Charlie and Harold smelled heavenly by the end of their Spa day. For $25 each they were bathed brushed blow-dried and deodorized. Their nails were trimmed and rounded off as well as a cuticle treatment. Ears were cleaned, teeth were thoroughly brushed including breath spray, paw and nose balm applied, a**l cleaned trimmed and deodorized. I use Salon quality products when bathing, bio groom Chris Christensen and Earthbound canine are my standard cleansing products, but I will gladly use any you prefer. I also offer transport in the Longview area for only $5, and outside of the Longview area for 10 for places like Kilgore Gladewater Etc
