Meet Benz. He’s a 6 year old cocker spaniel who was surrender when his owner could no longer care for him. He had a significant cataract and we were hoping to be able to save the eye, but he developed glaucoma and it had to be removed. He has adjusted well since he had already lost his vision so once he healed from surgery, he never missed a beat. His ophthalmologist does recommend continued medication and periodic pressure checks in the remaining eye to help prevent the onset of glaucoma since it is a common condition in cockers.

Benz loves to play fetch and his favorite toy is a tennis ball! He does well with other dogs, cats and older kids. He has not been tested around younger kids, but feel with the risk to his remaining eye, older children might be best. He is crate and house trained and walks well in the leash.

Naomi's Christmas wish is to meet her furver family in time for Christmas.

Naomi is shy at first, but will warm up given time. She is house trained, crate trained, leash trained. She has been through and passed her Beginner and Intermediate training and will begin Advanced training soon. Naomi is good with kids, cats and dogs.

Nolan! How adorable is this face?! His foster journey all started when he was rescued from a kill shelter for the holidays. That was officially one year ago! We think this is the Christmas that he will find his forever family so that he can have a stocking by the fireplace with his name on it.

Nolan is a 4 year old pittie mix. He is crate and house trained. He does well with larger dogs, but no small dogs or cats. We think a home with no children or older children would be best just because of his energy level. He loves his people, loves to explore and absolutely loves riding in the jeep!

Darla Sue and Daryl Mae

Darla (tan and white) and Daryl (grey) came to rescue after their owner passed away. They are bonded sisters who will require a home together. They are extremely shy and take some time to get to know people, but they want so badly to trust. Since they are so shy and they will need a home that will be patient while they learn a new environment.

Daryl is more shy than Darla and relies on her to make the first move. They do well with other dogs and cats, but would do best in a home with either older, respectful children or no children.
