Every year, approximately 6.3 million pets enter U.S. shelters, and many are the result of unplanned litters.
Spaying and neutering can help lower the number of unwanted pets that lead to overcrowded shelters, hurting the chances of available pets finding a loving home.
If you need to schedule your pets spay or neuter procedure, please call us today.
🐾 Help us spread awareness on the benefits of spaying/neutering and share this post!

A few of your team's veterinarians and veterinary nurses were able to attend , the Veterinary Meeting and Expo right here in Orlando! What a whirlwind of education and networking!

Not only was this a great opportunity to earn Continuing Education credits to maintain certifications and licenses, but it was a great boost for the spirit, as well. There is nothing like attending classes, sessions, and meet & greets to really reignite, reinvigorate, and remind us why we do what we do- for the love and care of your pets!

Here at Sanlando Springs Animal Hospital, we believe in doing everything we can for the health of your pets. This is achieved by moving forward in the veterinary field. There is always more to learn out there; whether it’s about new treatments, refining our surgical techniques, or staying updated on the latest in animal diets and behavior, education is key to delivering the highest level of care. New knowledge means better diagnosis, treatments, and outcomes for your beloved pets!

Valentine's Day Safety!
💖 This Valentine’s Day, show your pet some extra love while keeping them safe – and help keep other pets safe by sharing this post!

Here are a few Valentine’s pet safety tips to keep in mind:

-Keep chocolate, candy, and treats with xylitol far out of reach—they’re toxic to pets!
-Watch out for flowers like lilies, which are especially dangerous for cats.
-Be mindful of lit candles and decorations that curious paws might knock over.
-Secure ribbons, strings, and wrappers to avoid accidental ingestion.
Wishing you and your pets a safe and sweet Valentine’s Day!

Regular dental cleanings are essential for preventing these issues and ensuring your furry friend stays happy and healthy.
