This beauty is looking for a forever home 💖

“Sable” was found on the side of the road by a Good Samaritan who has gotten her vaccinated, dewormed, and on her way to a healthy life. She’s a “pocket Pittie,” about 27 lbs and appears to be full grown.

A very kind person found this little kitten scurrying across Wekiva Springs Rd this morning. He’s about 6-8 weeks old and is getting treated for fleas and intestinal parasites. Fortunately, his injuries don’t appear life-threatening at this time. We are trying to give him every chance of survival. He is being fostered by the Good Samaritan who brought him to us today but we are looking for a permanent home for him! Please contact us if you are interested 💙

Dr. Amanda Trompeta (or Dr. T) graduated from Iowa State University in 2020 and has been practicing small animal medicine in the central Florida region ever since. She loves going to work every single day because she genuinely loves her team and the patients and families they care for together. She has a special interest in dentistry, internal medicine cases and a
soft spot for senior pets and providing the best possible hospice and end of life care. She values open communication and tries her best to make sure every client leaves with a handout or summary of the visit. It's important to her that we're all on the same page, that's where the magic happens.

Dr. T and her husband have 2 four legged children - Hercules the 10 year old rescue chihuahua/shih-tzu mix (pictured below) and Rocky their 4 year old one-eyed rescue cat. In her free time she enjoys reading, bachata/salsa dancing, and above all, going on adventures whether it's discovering a new place in town or traveling the world.

You may see lists of foods that are safe and not safe for pets during the holiday season, but the general rule of thumb should be to not give your pets ANY foods that you typically don’t, as this can lead to a variety of gastrointestinal issues.

We are closed today to celebrate with our families but will return to normal hours tomorrow! 🧡💛🤎
