National Pet Day
It’s National Pet Day!!
Ace is not as excited as his dad (Dr. Farrell) when it comes to watching tennis 🥱
Share a photo or video of your beloved pet(s) to celebrate them! 🐾
🧠 Brainz making biscuits! 🩷 Sound 🆙
On rainy days, we drink caffeine! ☕️ 😋
This week is PAW - Pet Appreciation Week!
PAW was created to create awareness of the importance of pets in our lives and to appreciate our pets for everything they do to enrich our lives.
Remember that we are our pets’ whole world. There is nothing they love more than spending time with their special people!
Ways to show your pet some appreciation:
🐾 Teach your dog a new trick
🐾 Extend your normal exercise time
🐾 Make sure the treat jar is full
🐾 Play some music for your pet
🐾 Spend extra quality time while watching your favorite sport (ex: ⬇️ Ace, not amused by tennis) 🥱
The power of microchips!
Checkers was reunited with her family after having gone missing 2 months ago. She was brought in by a Good Samaritan who was ready to adopt her and take care of her, until we found she had a microchip and were able to link her to her rightful owner. As you can see, Checkers was more than happy to see her family again.
We love happy endings…and Good Samaritans! 🙏
Rue’s morning routine…volume up for full effect! 😸
📣 Holiday hours: We will be closed on Saturday, Dec 24 (Christmas Eve) and Saturday, Dec 31 (New Year’s Eve) in addition to our regular Sundays so that our staff can spend time with their families this holiday. Not to mention, it will be the coldest Christmas in Central Florida in our lifetimes so who wants to go outside anyway?! Stay warm!🔥
Don’t forget to give us a call next week and stop by for your pet’s meds, especially those that get scared/stressed by the fireworks!

It’s the weekend and Rue knows it! 🥱

Puzzles and other interactive toys are a fantastic way to keep your pets’ minds sharp, prevent boredom and destructive behaviors, and to slow down their cognitive aging! 🤓
Here is Dr. Farrell’s dog, Ace, demonstrating below. It took him a while to figure it out, but he’s mastered level 1 and is ready for level 2! 🧩
Saturdays are for catnaps! 🐾
Our office cat’s new name is Rouleaux (a veterinary term referring to stacked red blood cells, seen commonly in cat blood), but we call her Rue for short. As you can see, she’s already making herself at home. We’re in love with her! 🥰
Today we hung portraits of our own pets (past and present) in the lobby, to remind us everyday of the unconditional love they give us, and the reason why we chose this amazing profession 🐾♥️
