The Animal Clinic of Wekiva in Longwood, Florida, is a small veterinary clinic for cats, and dogs. We provide vaccines, x-rays, de-clawing, and a number of surgical procedures to ensure your beloved pet is healthy. If you’re wondering why you haven’t seen Dr. Trompeta around the clinic in the last few weeks, it’s because she is working at her new “home” clinic…! Read below 👇

We are excited to announce that Dr. T, Dr. Farrell and Dr. P have partnered to acquire a new/pre-existing clinic that will be led by Dr. T and her amazing practice manager, Kristine. Currently it is known as 434 Animal Hospital, but will soon have a new name (stay tuned!), and is located at 212 E SR 434 in Longwood.

We are proud to say that we remain one of the very few privately-owned veterinary clinics in the area and have no plans on that changing.

It is worth noting that Dr. Farrell remains full-time here at Animal Clinic of Wekiva…and will be here until he retires!

While Dr. T is full-time at her new hospital, she will continue to work closely with our team at Wekiva, and you might still see her from time to time. Please help us in congratulating Dr. T on making a dream come true! It was also her birthday recently, so double congratulations are in order! ♥️🐾

This cute 4 month old baby girl named Violet needs a home! A Good Samaritan rescued her from a car engine and has gotten her vaccinated and all taken care of. She has tested negative for feline leukemia, FIV and intestinal parasites. She is currently living with 4 other cats and a big dog and gets along really well with all of them. She has a very calm, sweet disposition and her foster family wants her to go to a good, loving home! 🏠 Please comment below if you’re interested and we will put you in touch with them! 💜

Addison’s Toy Chest proudly announces the annual Christmas toy drive has begun and we are a sponsor here at Animal Clinic of Wekiva! ♥️

Our mission is to deliver new, unwrapped toys and supplies to our local children's hospitals. We want to bring smiles to the children's faces at Christmas, and hopefully, let the families know they are supported.

The charity was started in honor of Addison. Her family’s experience with her in the hospital taught them that even the smallest gesture can bring hope. That's what we would like to give these kids at Christmas time.

Tootsie has a new lease on life thanks to some amazing people who traveled all the way to Texas to get her! She was in a puppy mill, had many litters, suffered from a pyometra (life-threatening uterine infection), skin cancer and bad dental disease. A loving rescue got her all fixed up and now she’s living her best life in Florida with her new family! 💜

Even though today is the last day of Vet Tech Appreciation Week, let’s continue to THANK and CELEBRATE our amazing technicians all throughout the year! 🙇‍♂️

Today we shout out Maddie! She has been a technician with us for a little over 2 years. She recently obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of Central Florida and is in the process of applying for veterinary school. As you can see from the photo below, she always has a big smile on her face, is willing to help wherever she’s needed and is soaking up all the knowledge she can in preparation for becoming Dr. Mav!
