***URGENT*** We have recently learned that the Microchip manufacturer Save This Life has suddenly and without notice shut down. As your veterinarian we take pride in helping our patients and clients live a long happy life together. Microchips are very important for peace of mind and protection in case the unexpected happens.

Currently, if a pet with one of their chips is lost, there is no way to trace the microchip to the pet's owner. The good news is that Save This Life microchips are UNIVERSAL, meaning that they can be re-registered with a different microchip company. Re-registering is very simple and can be done for free at either of two websites below.

Please re-register your pet's microchip at one of the following locations as soon as possible.

www.24petwatch.com offers free microchip registration

Free Registry Service at www.freepetchipregistry.com.
This is a free database that is connected to the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool.

We have identified all pets in our database that have this specific microchip, we are emailing and calling all clients whose pets were microchipped with a Save This Life chip, to let them know how to re-register their pets.
