✨ 5 WEEKS OLD - THE OFFICE CREW ✨

The Dunder Mifflin daycare division is officially in full swing and these pups are keeping us on our toes! Between the wrestling matches, the zoomies, and supervised outdoor play, the breakroom’s never been busier OR cuter.

Here’s what’s new this week:

✨ Crate introduction: We introduced a crate (door off) to get them comfortable … turns out it’s the hottest napping spot in the office 😴

✨ New enrichment toy: We brought in a puppy play gym - it’s a PVC cube with dangling toys overhead and at eye level for chewing, pawing, and tug-of-war. Big hit 🎉

✨ Food update: Puppies are now on soaked kibble and nursing just once a day from Mama Winnie 😋

✨ Outdoor adventures: We created a 15’ x 15’ outdoor play yard and they’re officially getting their paws dirty on real grass! ☀️

✨ Tiny sharks alert: Their puppy teeth are ALL the way in and ankles are apparently a delicacy 🦈

✨ FOUR WEEKS OLD - THE OFFICE CREW ✨

It’s been a big week for the Dunder Mifflin interns! Between playtime practice, potty training wins, and their first taste of puppy mush, these little coworkers are growing fast and keeping Corporate (me) on my toes 😂

THIS WEEKS HIGHLIGHTS

✨ The pups have officially clocked into play mode. We’ve added in some gentle obstacles to encourage muscle development and activate those problem solving skills, and they’re loving the challenge 💪🏼

✨ They’ve started puppy mush a few days ago! A gourmet blend of NutriSource Large Breed Puppy food, milk replacer, and a splash of unflavored Pedialyte for electrolytes. Everyone’s digging in like it’s Pretzel Day 🥨

✨ Big milestone: Potty training is underway! We introduced fake grass/turf in the whelping box and these clever coworkers are using it about 80% of the time **cleanup on aisle break room** We will take that as a WIN 💩

✨ And YES, Phyllis is still holding her own, joining in the fun, climbing over siblings and the obstacles, and proving every day that she’s one determined little gal 🙌🏼

✨ THREE WEEKS OLD - FULL OF OPINIONS ✨

These Dunder Mifflin pups have found their voices and let’s just say… Michael Scott would definitely be calling a meeting. Between the howls and tiny barks, it’s starting to sound like the conference room at 9 a.m. on a Monday. 📢

Here’s what’s new this week:

✨ The crew is walking steadily, playing, and wrestling!! It’s starting to look a lot like an unplanned team-building exercise in the break room.

✨ Phyllis (a.k.a. Little Girl) is officially on the move! She’s up on all fours, playing with her siblings, and gained a full pound this week!

✨ Everyone’s getting curious about life outside the whelping box - so much so that they’re trying to climb out! Corporate (a.k.a. Dan and Brooke) had to step in and raise the walls to keep these ambitious little employees from staging a breakout.

✨ TWO WEEKS OLD - THE OFFICE CREW ✨

Our little employees are officially two weeks old and there’s a whole lot happening in the branch! This week brought some big milestones…eyes are opening, legs are moving, and the chatter is picking up. Personalities are starting to shine through and it’s safe to say we’ve got a full cast of characters in the making.

✨ Eyes are open and they’re starting to take in their brand new world. While their vision is still a bit blurry, it’ll continue to sharpen over the next couple of weeks as their eyes fully develop.

✨ They’re walking on all fours, finding their footing (literally) and practicing their wobbly walks all around the whelping box.

✨ We have a few chatty little managers and others are calm observers. Don’t let this early personality development fool you, those quiet ones can easily find their voices!

✨ We’ve got to shout out our little girl Phyllis! She’s gained 13 ounces this week and is thriving - even without loving the bottle life 😂

✨ Tiny but mighty - with a dash of stubborn ✨

Phyllis is boycotting bottles and demanding the real deal. Quiet, stubborn, and 100% in charge—just like her namesake.

We made the decision to supplement for extra calories. She’s gaining, but her litter mates are gaining faster! We’ve been through a few bottles to find her favorite, but she prefers mom 🥹

✏️ ONE WEEK OLD - “THE OFFICE” CREW ✏️

These tiny Dunder Mifflin employees have been clocked in for one whole week and business is BOOMING … mostly in the milk department!

📍Special milestone today: our littlest lady hit one pound! She was born at only a small 9 ounces!! We had to put in some extra work with her right from the start to help her get going, but she’s stronger now than she’s ever been. She’s proof that even the smallest Assistant to the Regional Manager can rise to the top with a little teamwork and determination.

📍The rest of the crew is tipping the scales just under or just over two pounds - clearly thriving on snack breaks and conference room naps.

📍The team had their dew claws removed this week. Everyone handled it like total pros. You could say they had their first official HR meeting 😂

May we all aspire to be Winnie during labor and delivery! She did AMAZING!! She was calm and engaging right away as the first baby was born! Such a great mama she is!

This weekend I will be reaching out to the families who have reserved a puppy to schedule puppy pick weekend!

We will also do be reaching out to our coffee winners!

✨ PREGNANCY UPDATE - DAY 59 ✨

Winnie is hanging in there and in pretty good spirits judging by the tail wag 😆

We are at day 59. Dogs are considered full-term and safe to whelp from day 57, however, we like to see them get past day 60 - those extra few days growing and putting on weight in the womb really make a difference!

We are spending more time in the whelping room taking naps so she’s once again comfortable with where she will be for the next few weeks with her babies. It’s also a good area for her to get some peace and quiet!

Slight temp drop to 100° last night. This temperature drop is normal and happens because of a decline in progesterone levels. Progesterone is the hormone that helps maintain pregnancy. As labor approaches, the body naturally reduces progesterone levels to trigger contractions and the birthing process. Once we hit 99°-98°, we know it’s go time!

✨ WINNIE PREGNANCY UPDATE - 56 DAYS ✨

At 56 days, Winnie is getting close to the finish line! Here’s what’s happening with the puppies in utero:

✨ Puppy Development: The puppies are nearly fully developed at this point. Their organs are functioning, and their lungs are almost ready for the outside world.

✨ Coat: Their coats have developed, and their coloring is set.

✨ Movement: Lots of moving around in there as the puppies are shifting into position for birth!

✨ Final Growth: The puppies are putting on their final bit of weight and strengthening their muscles for birth.

Winnie had good energy today! She is LOVING her ice cubes!! She has taken over the spot above my head in our bed 😆
Whelping room is set up and ready! She is loving her “human dog bed” right now, but it’ll be moved out when it’s go time!

✨ PREGNANCY UPDATE - 2 WEEKS LEFT ✨

Winnie is officially 49 days into her pregnancy, which means we’re getting SO close to puppy time 🤎
We can see and feel the puppies moving and wriggling around (watch for the little kicks in the video) She is filling out quite a bit and getting a little uncomfy - very excited to get my eyes on that puppy count x-ray on Friday!

Here’s what’s happening in utero at this stage:

✨ The puppies are now fully formed with all major organs in place.
✨Their coats are developing, and pigment is starting to show in their skin.
✨Their bones are beginning to harden, but they’re still soft enough for safe delivery.
✨They’re growing rapidly, gaining size and strength in preparation for birth!

✨ PREGNANCY UPDATE - 3 WEEKS UNTIL DUE DATE ✨

Hello everyone!
Wanted to give everyone an update on how Winnie’s pregnancy is going - also gives me an opportunity to share this throwback picture of her watching the Loon family on our lake up north. So pretty my girl is!

I CANNOT believe that she is due 3 weeks from today! Her appetite is back 👏🏼 and we’ve actually introduced a small lunch for her. She is definitely bumpin’. I love rubbing her belly, but it’ll be about a week until we feel them moving (that’s my favorite)!
Everyone got pampered today with a bath and a rub down of coconut oil! Helps so much in this winter, fake spring, back to winter weather!

I will be doing pregnancy updates every week from here on out so watch for those on Saturday’s!

March 14th is her puppy count x-ray! That’s always so fun to see!

We’ve officially opened our waitlist! We take a limited number of pre-whelp deposits (those deposits have been secured) as we try to ensure we don’t promise more puppies than we can provide. Once our litters arrive and we know everyone is healthy, we’ll open up the remaining spots.

✨ HERE’S HOW IT WORKS ✨

• The waitlist is free to join - no deposit required, but please keep in mind this is for families who have a serious interest.

• Once the puppies are born, we’ll announce the litter and start contacting people in order.

• If you’re contacted, you’ll have 48 hours to place a deposit to secure your spot. If we don’t hear back, we’ll move to the next person on the list.

• Once your deposit is in, we’ll send you a receipt, confirm your pick spot, and get you scheduled for puppy picks!

This process keeps things fair and ensures every family is matched with the right pup. If you have any questions, feel free to ask!!
