Arena is looking good, few more spots to dry out.

Are you ready!?!

The stalls are all labeled. Each family gets a stall per horse and a tack stall. Remember to bring your own shavings.

Please plan to have a variety of clothes. 4-H showing requires western attire (long sleeve, collared shirt, western hat/helmet, boots or English attire). If hot and judge allows we may be able to switch to short sleeve collared shirts and/or even t-shirts but those will be day-of calls. Plan for anything!

Plan for stall judging either Saturday or Sunday (we will announce when we know).

Quick reminders: if mounted, helmet needs to be securely on. No double riding, must be seated properly in saddle. No rides / sitting.

Always keep your vet forms on hand for verification.

In just one week we will be at the Martin County Fair! While there is much to see and do everyday, We want to highlight our horse and pony events!

Saturday, July 12th starting at 6pm come watch the 4-H youth run barrels, poles, flags, keyhole and speed in action!

Sunday, July 13th starting at 4pm come watch the horse show. Kids will be competing in halter, showmanship, ranch pleasure, horsemanship, trail, English, and driving. We are also pleased to announce that we will also have some mentor-showmanship contestants (kids who don’t own their own horse and so will be showing someone else’s).

Monday, July 14th starting at 7pm will be the rodeo and I’m sure some of our hometown cowgirls will be running!

Thank you to the Richers and Overtons for the expertise and labor!

Sudden pop-ups dropped some rain today and we can’t wait to see how it settles and drains.

Currently forecast is looking good for practice on Sunday! However, since we have a few members returning from 4H camp we are going to push back practice to start at 4pm on Sunday June 1st.

Weather finally cooperated, the arena is looking good! Fingers crossed we can have practice this weekend.
