We'll be keeping all the decorations on hand for more photo ops. I think these two really enjoyed it.

The Art Barn is having a Christmas Horse Camp December 27, 28, & 29!
9am-3pm

Open to ages 8 and up, this camp will have your kids busy all day learning and working in the barn and outside as weather permits!

We will cover horse safety and communication, care & feeding, grooming, barn chores, tack care and tacking up, ground work and riding!
Forest walks and Art breaks also included.

Gloves, helmets, snacks and drinks provided. BYO lunch
Bring boots to work and ride in (we have some extras)

COST: $225

Here I am on set playing a racehorse breeder with a movie horse. She is definitely not a racehorse, but a working movie horse, on many sets! 20 years old, very quiet and a little overweight. I'm not judging 😆

Meet the teacher: Nahanni Johnstone is an award winning actress and professional acting coach who moved to Lookout Mountain with her family in early 2021. The family adopted 4 rescue horses and a Friesian as well as 2 kittens who are now the resident barn cats. She has found that training horses is very similar to acting, as success depends on sensitivity and mindfulness...especially when rehabilitating traumatized animals.

She is married to stunt coordinator Steve Lucescu and is mother to Chloe and Aram. Both her children have gone into the arts as well, with much success!

Nahanni is excited to share what she feels is Paradise on the Mountain!

We teach natural horsemanship with our beautiful family of rescue horses and ponies!
Our arts program includes acting and storytelling, drawing and painting, and guitar lessons.
