In 2023 we moved 250+ at-risk animals, and now over 550 more in 2024! But we have $600+ in fixed expenses every month which doesn't include putting fuel in the van, paying for regular maintenance (oil changes, tire rotations, tune-ups, etc.), vehicle repairs, or other costs. Rather than making a plea every few months and hoping for large donations or grants, we could actually feel much more secure with even just a few dozen more people willing to make recurring monthly donations via PayPal, at modest amounts between $5 to $25. Roadies & Rescues needs your help for a strong finish to 2024. I more than doubled my efforts this year but that means twice as much in maintenance costs for the big rescue van. Plus, we have roughly $600 a month in bills for insurance policies (liability + vehicle insurance) and our storage fees for all of our crates and rescue supplies, and the box van.
