Are you looking for a dork, goofball, and/or giant forever puppy? Then look no further than Max!
Max was rehabilitated from Stanislaus shelter, where he was set to be euthanized. He was a scared, lonely boy, just looking for a chance. If you have been following Max, you saw he didn’t take long to come out of his shell, and start showing the sweet, lovable, and playful side. He is very deserving of a great home, that will give him the love he needs.
The ideal home would be patient and understanding that he may not be an outgoing dog at first but as soon as he knows he can trust you, he will give his whole heart (and belly for belly rubs)! He does fine around chickens, goats, and other dogs as long as they aren't too rambunctious. He prefers to play by himself or cuddle with his people. He would do best in a home with older children as he's a big dog (about 90 lbs!) and may knock over little ones.

Freyja is a very playful, smart, young white German Shepherd mix that came to us as a stray. She loves people, especially kids, and does well with other dogs. She's been around chickens and goats and would probably do fine in a household with cats as long as the cats are willing to put her in her place!
Freyja is very energetic and needs some form of exercise almost daily. Having access to outdoor activities, a yard, dog park, or other dogs to play with would be ideal to help keep her active. She would do best in a household that is familiar with German shepherds and the training they require.
She's spayed and up to date on her shots.
