We are combining our youth-serve community meal with our annual Shrove Tuesday celebration on March 4th at 5pm. Join us in honor of eating breakfast at non-breakfast hours 🍳 and working on creative projects as we transition into the season of Lent. FREE Pancakes and breakfast-for dinner, tasty desserts, and great company provided – we hope to see you there!

That's right – we started seeding for the 2025 season last week. Baby snapdragons, lettuces, and other spring crops are on the way. The Solidarity crew is hosting our youth-led monthly dinner & a Valentine-themed craft night TONIGHT, Tuesday, Feb. 11th ,at Church of the Redeemer. Doors at 4:30pm, and we are serving a tasty (and free!) meal at 5pm. Excited to celebrate what it means to love and be together in this community. Every 2nd Tuesday of the month we host a youth-led community meal where local kids prepare and serve a free dinner for the neighborhood. Huge thanks to all the continued support of our farm and programs this season, we’re incredibly lucky to have the community we do!

In 2025, we are renewing our commitment to youth programs and outreach and expanding our efforts to include monthly movie nights, a teaching garden on the farm, U-pick days, flower donations to nursing homes, a youth hot sauce startup, and more!

The people spoke and we listened! We received feedback that y’all wanted more chances to buy our wreaths, ornaments, hoodies, etc. in downtown Lorain this holiday season, so we’re adding in a few popups!

Find us at this Friday, December 6th from 10-12pm and at (201 w. 10th st.) on Saturday December 21st from 12-3pm.

What a wonderful Thanksgiving it was – hosted folks for dine-in & to-go meals, and we delivered food to our neighbors (~250 meals and 30 turkeys total!). We are incredibly grateful to all of our volunteers, staff, and community members who make this event possible year after year. You all are the best reminder of what it means to celebrate one another and be together in this beautiful place. 

Be on the lookout for our upcoming craft shows in Lorain and Cleveland – shop local with us this holiday season!

The time of the year is here! Church of The Redeemer is again hosting a free Thanksgiving meal this Thursday at 1pm, our largest community dinner of the year. We harvested our final round of veggies and flowers this week. We are grateful for these fall days and rainy moments to make dried wreaths, hot sauces, and elderberry jellies; to save seeds and herbs; and to remind ourselves why we do the work we do - community. We hope you are able to spend time with yours as the holiday season approaches & visit the farm team at our upcoming events along the way.

We have plenty of harvesting tips and tricks up our sleeves, especially for our organically grown flower operation! The Zinnia is a beloved addition to our fresh bouquets and dried wreaths. The catch - they're only ready to harvest once the stem hardens. Hold the stalk 6-8 inches below the flower and give it a lil shake!
