Boarding at Rogers K-9:
Did ya know when your dog boards with us they’re treated like family? I’m very proud of all the little extras that we do and how loving our staff are to all of the dogs in our care. In the morning, all dogs get a scoop of freshly cooked scrambled eggs with their breakfast (if owners approve.) In the evening, after dinner, all dogs get ‘dessert,’ which is a fresh, raw meat snack, frozen peanut butter filled Kong, or lick mats - whatever each dog prefers and is allowed to have. We do not charge extra for giving meds or giving dessert or snacks. Every dog gets out 4 times a day - minimum 20 minutes for their exercise breaks. The last time we take dogs out is between 9-10 PM the same way we would do it at home with our own dogs. Many places take them out at 5 or 6 PM and they are left in their kennel until the next morning. We do not charge extra for late night Potty breaks. We do not charge extra for late night drop offs or pick ups, Sunday drop offs or pick ups or even holiday drop offs or pick ups. All of the dogs get night lights and soft music playing overnight to help them relax. We pride ourselves in running our business with the dogs receiving the same care as our own personal dogs. Schedule your holiday boarding now before it fills up 🎄🎅 🎁
2024 Summer Novice Graduates
Check out our amazing Novice teams at graduation tonight. On day 1 the majority of these dogs would not have been able to be this close to another dog. The large majority pictured here are rescue dogs, many of which were on the euthanasia list for behavioral issues. On that note, we’d like to give another big shout out to Erie Shores Humane Society for sponsoring 10 rescue dogs to be in the program all summer. They all did amazing ❤️
Novice: Week 4 Figure 8’s
One more that we are a bit proud of! This is Novice Week 4, Figure 8’s using humans as posts. Might not look like much to most. But, to us it’s a pretty big deal, especially knowing this GSD dog and how a few weeks ago he would’ve rather bit us as to have worked this closely to us. Kick A$$ job on training shown here by Team Doc! And Trainer, Tracy Mollura Erickson, and I, are just a couple of fearless Pirates that love livin’ on the edge 😎🏴☠️ HaHa!
Novice Class - Scrambled Heeling
Novice Class Week 3: Scrambled Heeling. **Note: the majority of the dogs in this class are rescue dogs that are, or we should say were, behaving as dog/human reactive on Week 1.
**Some magical things happening here for these pups and owners **💫❤️🏴☠️
BIG Shout out to Erie Shores Humane Society, who sponsored TEN rescue dogs to get into this program this summer and they always sponsor every year! A lot of lives being saved ❤️❤️

RK9 Doggie Social Training - Big Group
Finally got my jealous Shepherd, Mozart, into the BIG GROUP for Doggie Social Training. He gets jealous of other dogs coming up to me. But, he’s behaving well now. The majority of the dogs in this video are homeless rescue dogs who presented as dog reactive/aggressive. With the help of our A-MAZING RK9 ‘Flag Girls,’ Gabby Timothy Gardner & Tracy Mollura Erickson running Social Training after Aaron Christopher Serrano worked his magic with his AWESOME Muzzle Training and Confidence Building sessions with each dog… these pups are looking pretty darn dog friendly and ADOPTABLE to us ❤️

Pete!!
Reactive Rescue Dog, Pete (White Pittie with Black Spots) after a few weeks of our Group Social Training ❤️ He’s ready and looking for a foster or permanent home through Berea Animal Rescue Fund
**Also in this video is rescue dog, Blue (tan husky mix with big blue eyes.) He came into Rescue with Friendship Animal Protective League, extremely skittish and scared of his own shadow, constantly wanting to escape and run away. We have since trained him and found him an amazing home. Now he’s doing social groups to continue training and further build his confidence, and absolutely loving life.
Controlled stable playgroups 🙌🏻 this is how you make a happy stable dog.
THIS IS NOT DAYCARE this is social training. We offer controlled play groups mixed with confidence building. Aiming to help dogs that are dog selective, dog aggressive, very hyper with other dogs, or even just dogs that want playtime with others in a safe controlled environment. 🐾❤️
Message us to sign up for your session 🙌🏻
Stable social this morning ❤️
Come join our pack. We work reactive dogs and just happy dogs that need an outlet to burn there energy during the day. 🫶🏻
Marge came to us for training through “Love-A-Stray” dog rescue. She was said to be barrier aggressive and dog reactive.
Given time, patience and personalized training techniques, she has blossomed into a very good girl!
The primary goal of her continued training is to make her “dog safe”. This means she will be able to walk safely, off muzzle, with other dogs. She will look to us for direction instead of making impulsive choices on her own.
Sign up today let us help you and your pup 🫶🏻🙌🏻
