These miniature Valentines are the sweetest! They are silly, playful, and they’ll soak up all the attention they can get!

They usually visit us for grooming but occasionally we get lucky enough to have them as guests! Either way, we’re always thrilled when they drop by!

They also have the most wonderful parents who treat them like they’re gold, which warms our hearts! Every pet should be this fortunate!

We love it when our friends/volunteers, the Yang's swing by! Our dogs enjoy it too, because they know some lucky pup will get to go on an outing for the day!

This week that doggie was the lovely Peach! Here's what the Yang's have to say about this special girl!

Meet the sweet and gracious Peach! 🍑

Peach became the longest resident at the Waco shelter a few months ago and was at risk, but Brazos Valley Boarding Kennels Rescue took her in and saved her life! 🌼

Peach is as sweet as her name. She absolutely loves people and will even give you a hug. She has the sweetest happy smile and tail wag when she wants you to pet her and will even sit nicely for pets (and treats!) 🌺

Peach is very well behaved and gentle. She walks well on the leash, takes treats very gently, and responds to her name. She is a little anxious in the vehicle but otherwise does fine and is curious about the passing cars. She visited Pet Supplies Plus store and did fantastic (she even got to meet some guinea pigs!) and although she was a bit shy, enjoyed the attention from the staff. 👑

Peach is dog-selective; if you have other dogs in the household, a meet-and-greet with her would be best to make sure she's a good match for your family. Her favorite buddy is Royal, and they enjoy playing and hanging out together! 🐾

Peach is a super sweet and lovable girl; she is very easy going and a nice medium size. It's hard to believe she hasn't been adopted yet! Come meet Peach asap; she'd love to meet you! 🩷

What a fun evening! Our friend and trainer, Sam Araka from SJR K9 Services stopped by to help our friends and their dogs with some training tips.

While he was at it, he also worked with a few of our babies so they remember their manners! Recent SJR grad, Chanel No. 5 was also on hand to show off what she's learned during her board and train session!

Training will be happening on site within the next few weeks! Give us a call if you're interested in enrolling your pup!

Class is full, but if you're interested in learning more, then plan on stopping by to watch Sam work his magic! He definitely has the touch when it comes to dog training, whether it is something as simple as the basics or more complicated issues as behavior or aggression!

Happy Weekend! We want to begin this Saturday by telling you about an adventure! As in our buddy's the Yang's stopped by and picked up one of our rescues for a doggie day out!

Introducing the famous Tails, available for foster or adoption at Brazos Valley Boarding Kennels Rescue! 🐾

Tails became the longest resident at the Waco shelter for many months. He became an office foster dog and was an excellent companion to the staff. He went into foster care, but was eventually returned and was at risk for being a long-stay resident, so Brazos Valley Animal Rescue took him into their facility where he's been thriving since! 🩵

Tails is super well behaved and an absolute cuddle bug. He loves to be petted and will lean against you to receive a hug, or he'll be on your lap. He is very people friendly and is always ready to make new friends! 🌻

Tails is very easy going and knows how to behave. He rides like a pro in the vehicle and loves watching the passing cars! He walks decently on the leash, knows basic commands, and takes treats very gently. Despite being treat-motivated, he is not demanding and is patient. 🏅

Tails is a wonderful dog and it's a surprise no one has adopted this handsome boy yet. He has the cutest ears and also, he loves to chase his tail! This dog is seriously the sweetest and will wow you with his gentle and loving demeanor. Come meet Tails and make 2025 his year! 🌟

Puppy Girl and Stonewall came to us from the shelter and had lost a lot of weight due to the stress of the lifestyle. Because they weren't thriving, it put them "at risk".

Fortunately, we brought them to us, and we were on a mission to cover those protruding ribs! Thanks to YOU for providing food, they are looking SO much better!

That good diet has been a huge part of their success! As a rescue that has a large number of dogs waiting for homes, we're asking for a HUGE favor!

We'd love it if you'd grab a back of food and drop it by! Our dogs eat Diamond Naturals All Life Stages Chicken and Rice Formula Dry Dog Food Protein from Real Chicken, and Probiotics!

Hey friends!

Pet Circle Regional Adoption Center need temporary fosters TODAY! These dogs are tagged for rescue and must only be fostered until February 5th!

Temporary fostering allows kennels to open as more dogs to come in. They are currently at maximum capacity!

Please foster or adopt a dog and help us open some kennels TODAY if you can. '

The 3 dogs pictured are longer stays and could be "at risk" if a plan is not found soon.

Quick update on Roscoe, who has had a couple of “wormy” issues, which has affected his health.

Roscoe and his foster mom made a trip to the vet yesterday for a check up to see how he is healing.

Good news! Roscoe is worm free! He is also up to date on vaccines, and received a clean bill of health.

He even was more relaxed during his trip, which is huge for shy Roscoe! He’s ready to find his forever!

Our good friends the Yang's stopped by this past week to take out one of our pups and give them some time outside of the rescue.

This week they chose none other than the famous, Gladys! Here's what they had to say about this beautiful lady!

Meet the wonderful Gladys! 💛

Gladys became the longest resident at the Waco shelter. She was a unicorn dog, which meant she couldn't be around dogs, cats, or kids. Her life was in danger, but thankfully, Brazos Valley Boarding Kennels Rescue took her into their facility, where she's been thriving there since! 🐾

Gladys is full of fun and love. Once she gets her zoomies out, she is a calm girl and enjoys quiet cuddle time with you. She has a buddy, Khalil, whom she loves and spends her time playing with him! 🥰

Gladys rides excellently in the vehicle; in fact, she might be a good companion for a truck driver! She loves to observe her surroundings and is interested in the world around her. She is good on the leash and knows basic commands. She's super gentle when taking treats and waits patiently to be given them. 🌟

Gladys loves her people and is big on cuddling. She loves to be close to you or on your lap and will lick your hand as a thank-you for petting her. She is very loyal and loving to her people and will even bark at strangers! 🌼

Gladys is like a lioness: strong, graceful, and she has the most beautiful golden coat and eyes. Gladys is a one-of-a-kind girl who has so much love to give to her person. Come meet this amazing girl and be prepared to have your heart melted! ☀️

We are always grateful for the Yang's who take time to spend with out pups! We love they love Gladys as much as we do! Come meet her, and see if you don't fall in love, too!

Introducing-the new guy!

Meet Phoenix! He’s been with our rescue for about a month. A lovely lady brought him to us after she found him, and no one stepped up to claim.

Which is a shocker! Phoenix is a delight! He’s funny, silly and great with people and other dogs! You can see that he’s breathtaking in the looks department!

Phoenix understands sit and shake, so he’s been worked with. He also is a fantastic car rider, so if you’re looking for a travel buddy or a dog that can go anywhere with you, this is your guy!

Phoenix is up to date on his vaccinations, but he does still need his neuter before an official adoption can happen.

He is currently in foster care, but if you’re interested in meeting him, just reach out!

Phoenix is ready to rock his way into your world!
