Ruby originally came to us for being overly reactive when on walks. Super proud of her impulse control on this walk! She was also walking beside Shimmer (my parents dog) that she had not met prior.

Long post, sorry in advance!
As some of you know, or maybe you had no clue. I had taken a slight break from training dogs after I lost Jaxx. Losing Jaxx was one of the hardest things to deal with. He was my soul dog and I lost all motivation. Let's be honest, I was just straight up depressed losing my best friend. I worked as a vet assistant with a large animal vet and also was a vet tech at a small animal clinic, but it wasn't where my heart truly belonged. A friend told me I needed to do some soul searching and she was right. I did just that and although it hurt, I remembered exactly why I started dog training in the beginning. If it weren't for giving the dogs a chance that everyone else gave up on, and taking on the rehabilitations and major behavior issues that I have; I would have never gotten Jaxx in the first place. It's been over 9 months since losing Jaxx and I will still cry daily missing him. With that said, I will be actively taking on new clients and continuing what I started in 2011... I will continue to keep fighting for the dogs that everyone else gives up on as long as I see hope. I will keep fighting for dogs like Jaxx. I miss you buddy, and that will never change. Just sharing the memorial video for Jaxx as a reminder of who he was to me.
