Alright for those who ask me how to grow a dogs name or raising a male or female pup up to being a potential breeding dog it starts here… First off, you need to be hands on consistent and really putting time into your dogs by training and socializing them every chance you get from the time you get this pup or if you’re a breeder and you’re keeping a pup it’s the same thing… there’s no too early of a time to start training. Socializing is huge!! If you’re planning on keeping a dog or pup in a cage all day everyday and not getting it out into public introducing distractions other dogs animals kids etc then you’re already setting your pup up to fail and this could be detrimental to the pup and even yourself and other people and animals. This doesn’t go for just this breed, it’s all dogs in general. You can’t expect a plant to grow and thrive unless you take care of it. Number two is marketing this dog’s temperament by getting it out and putting the progress out there for people to see. This shows people your pup has the potential to do good in shows, it has a great temperament and you’re also setting an example for other people and encouraging to do what you’re doing. So get the right content and promote healthy activities like this it’s a win win. People can see if you’re putting time into your dogs. Your dogs are a reflection of the time and love you put into them. Getting your dogs out to the shows Whether it’s a fun show or an ABKC show type show just show up and if you don’t know what to do just ask. Most people that go to the shows are doing the best they can to represent this breed and sticking to the breeding standard by showing the conformation and temperament of their dogs. These are the type of people that will give you advice and you can get a lot of knowledge from them. You can meet a lot of amazing people through these dogs. Grand Champion Captain America one of the cleanest XL bullies I’ve ever seen and when he’s in the ring he’s a robot. I’ve been stacking him non stop since he was a pup. When we get to the shows he’s almost like a different dog he knows what time it is and you can tell he takes a lot of pride in being at the shows. There’s nothing like having an XL Grand Champion I think there’s a lot more dogs out there that can do it we just need to show up and practice the 5 Ps everyday.
