With the animals all rehomed, my doors are officially closed. Thank you everyone who supported me and came to visit or help when I needed it.
There is something in the works for a different future for the farm so stay tuned!

Rooster Roy and his ladies are settled in at their new home at Special Spirit Inc. Once they get used to their life their they will be able to free roam the farm and eat bugs all day long. They are going to have the best life and they will get some more flock hens so Rooster Roy is going to have quite the harem!

The pigs and Gruff are in their new home. Once they settle in they will be allowed to roam a very large property. There are other pigs to make friends with and Gruff will have 2 girl goats to buddy up with if he likes. I had to do 2 trips one early in the morning since the boys wouldn't load and the other late at night when I got help to load the boys. It also beat the heat and helped make the journey a little less stressful. Everyone is settled in nicely and I plan on visiting them as soon as things settle down.
I moved Eeyore and Shade to the boarding place where my horses are at yesterday too. They were so excited. Its going to be so nice to be able to work with them there and they will get so much attention I know Eeyore will be thrilled by that.
Thanks everyone for all your support and love these past few years. It really means a lot to me and while I'll miss my animals I know this is the best thing for them and me.

I never thought I would give up my animals but in light of all the changes the universe threw my way and that I had closed the doors to the farm as a way to earn funds to help the animals pay for themselves, I started to look for homes for the farm animals.
The universe heard me and sent me 4 amazing places where my critters will go. The sheep are going to a dear friend. The 2 minis are going to be boarded where my big horses moved to, a lovely lady is taking the 3 younger goats and will be pets for her teenage daughter and my pigs and senior goat are going to live out their days at a new rescue in Rosamond.
I have first right of refusal on all of them, the minis excluded, they are still mine. If anything changes for any of them, they will always be welcome back with me.
Right now the chickens are still staying but I may move them to where the horses are too. I'm sad this chapter is closing, but I think it will be a good thing for everyone and my critters will get a lot more attention than I can give them.
Thank you everyone who has supported me and seen me through. I couldn't have made it this long without all your love and support. I will pay it forward every chance I get.

Hi everyone. My mom recently passed away and in light of this I'm switching gears with my life and want to actively look for homes for some of my animals. Please share if you know anyone that would give them a life long home.
If anyone is interested in adopting any of my pigs let me know. I'd like for Chance Harper and Pigerton to go together and Daisy to go with her goat friend, senior boy Gruff. I'm just thinking out loud. They all have forever homes with me, but if someone was wanting pigs these guys would be great to adopt. You will need to figure out transport to pick them up, but I'll help load.
Location is Sun Valley, CA for those who are sharing. Also, you must be zoned for pigs and livestock so there is no problem down the road with them not being allowed.
They are all easy keepers and I will send you with supplies for them and some food.

I'm happy to announce that a wonderful and local, family is adopting my last bunny, Miss Kiki. I'll miss her but this will be a good place for her. She's going to get so spoiled!! Pics to come!!

The younger baby chicks are fully feathered now and have been moved outside to a blocked off spot in the chicken coop. After a few days I will let everyone together. Once all the baby chicks are a bit bigger, probably come August, all but 4 will move to my day jobs flock. Its been fun raising them and they are a sweet bunch of chicks. Oh, and Auntie Thumbalina joined them.

I'm so excited for the La Tuna Cnyn craft fair tomorrow, Sunday June 4th from 11 to 3. So many amazing vendors with great crafts and homemade goods and more. Come support us and show your love to your local artisans. Oh and you can get donkey cuddles too when you come. ;)

The momma hen to my 2nd batch of babies passed away unexpectedly. I buddied them up with my 3rd batch of babies and put them in the rabbit room. My runty hen Thumbalina wasn't feeling well and was in there too to recover. It's been a few days and I tried them all together. Success! Its a busy room now and everyone seems happy.

It was time to let sweet Francesca cross over the rainbow bridge. She was 13 years old and the vet staff were amazed that she was that old. I'll miss you sweet lady!

The older chicks have been moved to the outer space of the chicken coop where they can now get used to the bigger hens without mingling just yet. The newest babies are still bonding with momma. They'll soon be in the indoor stall and then they too will do this shuffle.

Betina's Little Farm and Butterfly Garden is a private location in Sun Valley. It started as a way to build a native habitat for butterflies and expanded into a small farm with goats, chickens, a mini horse, a mini donkey and more.Unfortunately with the rising costs of feed and care for the animals and lack of interest from the public to attend events and classes, as well as our insurance no longer wants to cover what we do, we are shutting our doors to the public and saying a fond farewell. We will end with one final craft fair on June 4th. Hope you can join us then. Thank you everyone who has come to our events and has supported us in all we do. We gave it a good 3 year run for the farm and 7 years for the butterfly garden. The animals are all going to live out their days here. I'm committed to their care for their whole lives. I'm just going to find other ways to support their care. Many blessings to all of you. Thanks for the great memories!
