Not snake-related content, but this is why I’ve been inactive! It’s gonna be a couple more months before I’ll be back with snake content, but I can assure you the snakes are in good hands with my husband back at home :) I’m gonna be on here again, but just not posting content just yet.

Magma is losing her big, buggy eyes that babies have and it’s reminding me how far she’s come with taming down. She used to be my meanest snake. Hissing and biting anything that came near her. Now, I don’t even need a hook to take her out ☺️

One thing I noticed about my Green Anaconda is that she is always tightly coiled around my hand. Most of my retics and boas are more interested in exploring their surroundings especially when I first pull them out. This girl is also incredibly strong for her size (she is roughly 3 feet) I can’t even imagine how strong she’ll be full grown.

When you handle African Rock Pythons consistently as babies, they can be very tame subadults/adults! You just need to get past that bitey stage when they’re babies, which can be discouraging. Luckily for me, did most of the work for me hehe
