Are you looking for a sweet, smart, loyal and loving pup? Meet these four gorgeous babies!

Dylan, Taz, Rosie and Dulce are beautiful 6 month old German shepherd/ malinois mixes. And they are truly AMAZING! They’re all great with kids and other dogs, crate trained, leash trained, and the sweetest little bears you’ll ever meet. And even better, they’re potty trained!

Dylan is the sweet, gentle giant of the group. Rosie has the cutest elf ears and puppy eyes you’ll ever see, and will play with you all day if you let her. Dulce is exactly like her name: SWEET! She’s the calmest of the litter. And Taz is the most loyal gal you’ll ever meet. She bonds to her people, and can’t wait to have her own family to love!

These babies are being cared for by the amazing , and while they’re being loved and cared for, they really deserve their own homes and families.

Help! Crispy needs a foster or even better an adopter!!! His foster is not able to keep him past Jan 1st. Crispy has proven to be the sweetest and most cuddly little potato pup. He’s a medium sized pit mix and the perfect companion for anyone. We know he looks big in his pics, but he’s just 43 pounds of mashed potatos! He is gentle yet playful, sweet and easy going. He loves other dogs and does great in every playgroup. He has the cutest little bunny hop that he shows off when he gets excited. He is 1-2 years young, fixed and ready for his forever family!!!

Meet Placer! This sweet pup has had quite a hard life so far, but still has the sweetest personality!

Placer and his family were rescued from the Bakersfield shelter right before they were set to be killed. We pulled the family just in time. Unfortunately, the puppies had been exposed to parvo and quickly became sick. Placer was one of only three to survive. He is fully recovered and doing great.

Placer is sweet, loyal and playful. He’s amazing with kids of all ages and loves to play with other dogs. He is a pitty/ cattle dog super mutt, and will likely be 50 pounds when full grown.

We want to highlight our amazing staff today, and see if we can do something nice for them! For this $5 Friday, we’re asking anyone who is feeling the holiday spirit to send us digital gift cards and thank you notes that we can gift to our incredible kennel staff.

Our staff works WAY too hard for way less than they deserve. It’s hard to find nice pics of them at the rescue because they’re often covered in scratches and puppy potty messes 🫠 they are true angels who deserve the best, and especially something extra this time of year!

We are overflowing with love and gratitude after our Gala last night. Our hosts Ron and Haley knocked it out of the park. Our board worked together to create something magical that we never could have imagined. This $5 Friday, we are hoping to raise funds to go towards Praline’s emergency vet stay! Poor Praline was attacked by two of her siblings. Despite how adorable and sweet puppies are, on rare occasions we can see puppies go into their animal instincts and gang up on the “weaker” pup in the litter. In the ten seconds it took our staff member to hear her screaming and run from the other room, they had inflicted multiple bites and scratches on her tiny body. These pups are only 3.5 months old, but they are animals, after all.

Praline went to our founder’s house after spending all night at the vet. She had 8 wounds that required stitches, and a dozen scratches all over her body.

Despite these severe and painful injuries, Praline has been nothing but sweet, playful and affection since she came home. This girl is truly special. Once her stitches come out, she would love to find a long term foster or even better, and adopter!

If you could contribute even $5 towards Pecan’s vet bill, we would all be grateful! Especially Pecan 💜

Happiest of Birthdays to our amazing team member Jaycelle! Jay has been a blessing to our rescue for the last few years. She shows love and care for every dog in our rescue, ranging from the tiniest puppy that fits into her overalls, to the biggest 120 pound buff boys!

Meet Bradley!

We rescued this sweet 4+ month brindle and white Boxer/Pittie mix puppy from the the Bakersfield Shelter where he had came in as a stray. He was sitting quietly and respectfully in his cage and we just knew we had to save him.

In the two months that we have known him, he’s been an absolutely perfect puppy. He LOVES kids, and adults, and every dog he has ever met. Basically he loves everyone. He insists on sleeping with his foster dog sister, he loves the cuddles!
He is already familiar with crate training, and is a good listener. He’s been taught sit and come with the help of treat reinforcement. He’s a very sweet and gentle pup with everyone who has met him so far. He loves any dog he’s been introduced to. He is a little timid with them at first but quickly warms up. He rides well in the car however he gets a nervous tummy in the car. He loves toys and given the opportunity to chew on chew toys.

We can’t believe this special boy hasn’t been snatched up yet! He’s truly a perfect little guy. Apply for Bradley on our website!

Meet beautiful Charlotte! This sweet gal came to us from the mean streets of Tijuana. We think she is one to two years old, and a beautiful poodle terrier super mutt.

Charlotte LOVES people. She is affectionate and incredibly loyal. She’s fully potty trained, Lea strained, crate trained and loves kids of all ages. She’s full grown and weighs about 15 pounds.

Meet Sweet Rita! This perfect gal has been waiting 240 days for a furever home! :(

Rita was rescued off the euthanasia list from the Lancaster shelter. She was dumped while very pregnant, and gave birth while in the shelter. Sadly, all of her puppies passed away within a few days. Despite this horrific ordeal, Rita has been so loving and playful with everyone she meets.

Rita has been a perfect dog from day 1. Her absolute favorite activity is carrying a ball or toy in her mouth! She is incredible with people of all ages, and loves dogs (though she definitely prefers large dogs to very small dogs). She’s a sweet and easy going dog that would make a wonderful addition to any home!

Whether you’re looking for a hiking buddy or a snuggle buddy, Rita is the dog for you!

Rita is estimated to be 3 years old and weighs 70 pounds.

Kanga needs a foster or even better an adopter!!! This little lady is looking for a quiet foster home where she can wait for her forever family. She is very gentle and sweet. She is great with other dogs and cats. She does have separation anxiety and cries when left alone. This is something she will overcome as she gets more comfortable but in the meantime she needs a foster that doesn’t need to be away for long periods of time. Please apply on our website or PM us for an application. Kanga was found on the streets of LA. She has so much love to give and just needs the right family to open their hearts.

This adorable sloth is looking for a foster!

Say hello to Sherman Oaks! This little 12 week old pup has so much love to give! We think he is a cattle dog/shepherd/pit super mutt. He will likely be 40-50 lbs full grown. He is a confident little pup who loves attention and playtime! He is very curious and always looking for fun. He loves to wrestle with his siblings and tackle his toys. He thinks everything is a toy and he is always ready to play! His favorite thing to do is snuggle with people and lay on laps.

Mama Venice and her LA puppies were saved from the Bakersfield shelter. Venice is an amazing mama and her puppies resonate her happy and silly personality.

Valentine has been waiting 283 days for a furever home!

Meet Valentine. This big gal was found pregnant as a stray in Van nuys. She was safely captured on Valentine’s Day, which is how she got her name. She was likely kept in a backyard and used for breeding her whole life. She was weary of people and didn’t understand why we tried to give her affection. After months of kindness and training from her incredible foster, she is enjoying being a dog and is quite loyal. She likes to be able to watch the world go by out a window, go on long walks, or lay in the front yard and sunbath.

She is spayed and vaccinated and ready for a furever home!

Pups Without Borders is based in Los Angeles, California. For our adult and large breed dogs, we are happy to help with transportation to neighboring states.
