Meet, Rex!
🐶
Rex is a very under-socialized boy with pretty severe dog and people reactivity. Here we are working on dialing in Rex’s pack drive and giving him a simple job — to follow. This is one of his hardest spots outside (a lot of work was done before we moved here) and he is doing great. You’ll see his tail is still up and alert but he has a nice open mouth and pretty neutral ears. This result wasn’t immediate and it took about 45 min of reps doing this exercise. He even clocks the dog across the street and continues to follow! His mom is working on relaxing into the walk with little tension on the leash and providing Rex with the confident leadership he needs. Can’t wait to keep working with this dedicated fam!
Very proud of these two! Claire + Tiger & I have been working together for a couple of months now and Tiger has one dedicated mama that is really putting in the work 💛 We helping Tiger by fostering a calm state of mind, building his confidence, and guiding him into making better, more pleasant decisions — ie relaxing on place instead of reacting to the dogs barking. Towards the end of this session Tiger was closer to the barking dog and fully relaxed with his head down on place — his choice. This is Behavior > Obedience.

i have learned so much by going thru training with Tiger! Hannah (@packpotential_ ) is the best!! here we are practicing “place”~such in important concept for dogs that I never knew about. Tiger is safe when he’s in place, it allows him to calm down…during this session we were practicing place out in the front of the house where there were triggers and distractions. You can see him slowly settle…once his body was relaxed, the hips kinda rolled to the side, he was fully settled. Tiger has come a long way with his attachment to me and his anxiety! We still have work to do, but he’s really getting it!! Thanks to @packpotential_ training!! 🐅💪🏼
Mornings with these three + @janeworkingdogs are the absolute best ❤️
