Did you know black cats are less likely to be adopted ? Most of this is due to old superstitions. This day is used to bring awareness to this issue and to shed light on these beautiful , loving cats that can often be overlooked 🖤

Many shelters will have annual adoption days in October for black cats and dogs to promote adoption. They will often times waive the typical adoption fees!

I’ve owned and operated my own grooming salon for almost 2 years! 🤩

On January 15, 2022 I received a frantic phone call from my mom letting me know my vehicle
was stolen while I was out of town on business. Unfortunately my insurance company doesn’t cover rentals so I’ve been covering the cost of a rental out of pocket which is very expensive but it’s the only way I could transport my trailer for work and I didn’t want to let my clients down! 😮‍💨💜

After operating with a rental for about 2 weeks I sadly am no longer able to. Currently, I’m unable to work due to a dog bite to my hand.
I was grooming a fearful dog who doesn’t like getting her nails clipped . She was being very calm and brave but unfortunately she met her limit and did bite two of my fingers ! Due to this injury I will be completely unable to work until my hand heals!

Anything donated will help cover business, medical, and living expenses until I recover.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Hello everyone ! Just a reminder to brush your pet’s fur daily, at least a couple times a week. Don’t let the fur get matted. If it is matted no worries we will take care of it for you ! Depending on how matted the fur is, we may need to give your dog the full shave down. It’s a good thing fur grows back 🙂. Also think of all the cute coats you can buy them for the winter!

Over time, not trimming dog nails often enough can lead to all sorts of health problems. Every single part of your dog’s body depends on, and is affected by his feet. Nails that aren’t clipped often enough will to grow longer quicks over time. This means, if your dog goes for periods where his nails are on the medium/longer side, the live part of the nail (the quick that you see in the picture) will also grow longer, and that is the part that you shouldn’t cut. Not regularly trimming your dog’s nails leads to them being longer, long term.

For most dogs, Dremeling once a week is a good schedule of how often to trim. If you can manage it, Or every time they get groomed! It’s best to leave it to the professionals if trimming nails makes you nervous. If you do happen to cut your dogs quick not to worry, use qwik stop or cornstarch and apply pressure to the nail where it it bleeding! Book the next grooming appointment today! Link is in the bio.

Ear Cleanings are SUPER important! Some dogs never or rarely need to have their ears cleaned. For other dogs, the external ear canal may accumulate wax and debris, so they may benefit from regular at-home ear cleaning. This could depend on their breed (ear shape, presence of hair in the ear canal), lifestyle (swimming), or medical conditions (allergies). Your veterinarian can advise you as to whether or not it's necessary for your dog.
